This is my favorite hotel in the world. We had a deluxe room facing the see and it was just lovely. The service was top notch and maybe the best I’ve experienced. The pool pumps in sea water and overlooks the beaches. For a towel, chair and umbrella at the pool check in with the staff and they will get you set up. If you want a place at the beach the hotel has an agreement with one of them and for 40 euro you can get a beach chair umbrella towel and changing room with storage all day. It’s a short walk to all kinds of great restaurants and the old town is a nice walk of narrow pathways harking back to medieval times. There is nothing medieval about the hotel which feels like a palace and you will by treated like royalty. The breakfast is wonderful … the room is lined with glass flowers and chandeliers. Outside seating is also available and usually my first choice but I love the breakfast room.
We had evening drinks outside and again service can’t be beat.

We have been regular guests at the Hotel Royal in Sanremo for many years and always enjoy returning. The pool area is a highlight – we would especially like to mention the always friendly and attentive lifeguard Francesco, whose warmth makes our stay even more pleasant.
The hotel also impresses with its culinary offerings: The food is excellent and contributes significantly to a thoroughly relaxing holiday. The reception team is consistently friendly, competent, and professional, as is the overall service, which is of a very high standard.
One small drawback is the prices, which have risen significantly in recent years – especially for drinks (a beer for €15 is overpriced in our opinion).
A traditional hotel with wonderful service, great food, and a fantastic pool area – despite the increased drink prices, the Royal remains a special place for us, and we enjoy returning again and again.

Decidedly a luxury experience - 50 years ago. The hotel is away from the nicest part of San Remo and the entire experience is meant to have you spend as much money onsite. As others have said, the rooms are just okay and the walls are paper thin. I had a screaming baby on one side of my room and heard. everything. Would prefer to have my money back and have spend my precious vacation night elsewhere.

My partner booked two nights at this hotel for us, and we are delighted.
The hotel itself is truly majestic... moldings, marble, gilding, paintings, stains, and high ceilings... this hotel truly lives up to its name.
Furthermore, the service is remarkable in every way, and our suite with a sea view was sublime (and there are even more beautiful ones, apparently).
I particularly appreciated the two beautiful bathrooms we had, one of which was entirely made of marble...
The poolside service, like all the other services here, was regal. The pool itself was superb... the snack service: perfect.
What can I say about the restaurant? Romantic as can be. The wine? Delicious. The service? Always perfect.
Next time we'll stay longer, because my only disappointment was the bittersweet aftertaste of being too short.

1. Room - The walls are as if made from paper. You can hear everything and everyone. It's particularly annoying in the morning when everyone goes to breakfast and the room door starts shaking from the footsteps in the corridor. We had to place some tissue paper to stop it from shaking... We actually asked for a quieter room as we knew about the "noise" problem from reading the reviews here... So it is paradoxical that we still got a "noisy" one, and right next to the elevator.
2. Breakfast - The breakfast buffet is actually really nice but the minute you leave your outdoor table, it gets attacked by dozens of pigeons. As much as I love birds, this place has a serious problem with them.
3. Beach - The chaiselongue furniture by the pool is quite nasty. Very old and completely stained which testifies that the place lacks maintenance.
4. Beach bar - really overpriced. 25 euros for a cocktail there vs one for 6-15 euros in central Sanremo which beats the hotel's one in quality.
5. Staff - the staff is really nice.

We have been regular guests at the Hotel Royal in Sanremo for over seven years, spending 17 wonderful nights there each year. For us, this hotel has become like a second home. The atmosphere is simply unique – the hotel exudes history and culture and conveys a nostalgic flair.
The rooms are individually and tastefully furnished, which makes our stay a special experience every year. However, anyone expecting a modern hotel will be disappointed. The Royal has its own charming character that never fails to delight us.
We would particularly like to commend the friendly and helpful staff. The pool staff – Francesco, Aurelio, Nino, and Rebecca – are simply fantastic and ensure that guests feel completely at ease. Cecile and Desiree, who also serve guests at the pool, do a superb job as well. Their dedication and friendliness make our stay even more enjoyable.
The only slight drawback is the somewhat higher price of drinks and food at the pool and in the restaurant. However, the overall experience more than makes up for it.

The hotel is old. The rooms are very poorly soundproofed – you can even hear your neighbor brushing their teeth. The bed linen isn't 5-star quality (even though it cost €590 a night). I checked in at 8:00 PM and asked for a late checkout. The man at the front desk rather sternly said it wasn't possible, that there were too many people, etc. Even though it was the first half of June and off-season.
I definitely won't be back.
The restaurant has decent food, but even though there were tables available by the end of the evening, they didn't give me a table with a view, which was meant for two, but instead seated me in the noisiest area.

The room is large and well-appointed (the only downside is the lack of soundproofing between the rooms at the connecting doors, which is a shame).

We were lucky enough to have an upgrade; the room was super spacious, well-decorated, and super clean. The view from the room was beautiful. The staff in all areas, from reception to breakfast, were very friendly and speak several languages. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of sweet and savory options, and a beautiful view as well. We didn't dine in the restaurant, but we enjoyed an aperitif at the bar, where a pianist played from 7:30 p.m. to midnight. Even in November, we were able to enjoy the heated outdoor pool; it clearly needs maintenance but is still beautiful. The hotel's biggest downside is the spa management: the hotel was almost full, the spa was accessible without a reservation, and above all, there were NO TIME LIMITS, making entry almost an odyssey. We called as soon as we checked in and were told the spa was full and they didn't know if we would be able to access it or at what approximate time. They told us to wait at the hotel until they called us. We ended up waiting for two hours. But it was truly a bad moment that somewhat overshadowed everything else: choosing the hotel for the spa and then not knowing whether you could access it or not, having to get angry and report the problem to reception—it's really not pleasant. And I know I'm not the first to point this out. In any case, thanks to all the staff for the service provided.

We had a wonderful week stay at the Royal sanremo hotel. We enjoyed the classic old charm of the hotel, the stunning view and heated swimming pool designed by gio ponti. We stayed at this hotel for 4 days - 3 nights.
Beautiful room with a sea view, a stunning mosaic shower, and a truly comprehensive breakfast with everything from sweet to savory, including fruit and drinks. But the highlight of this hotel is definitely the spa.
Nothing to say. Gorgeous. Sauna, Turkish bath, unique showers, a large mosaic whirlpool tub, and massages are also available (for a fee).
All this at a truly excellent price considering all these amenities. We will definitely be back, we absolutely recommend it.

The room was great with a beautiful view. The service was excellent – although we had to wait 45 minutes because our room wasn't ready, we were offered two aperitifs as an apology. Dinner was quite expensive and could have been a bit more refined for the price, but again the service was excellent. All in all, we paid €850 for one night including dinner at the hotel.

Probably the most elegant hotel I've ever visited. The saltwater pool and the excellent view of the sea and Sanremo make it a pleasant place to stay without needing to go down to the beach. Bike rentals are available just below the hotel, so you can enjoy a lovely ride on the cycle path that runs along the sea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Special mention goes to Pool Master Francesco, always ready and attentive to every need, friendly without being intrusive. Top.

It's wonderful that such a traditional hotel still exists, combining the style of a grand hotel with today's comfort requirements. The service and friendliness of the staff were first-class. The rooms we booked, a junior suite and a double room with a large terrace, were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, and the maitre d' was great. Dinner on the outdoor terrace is also highly recommended, although the price was very high. We felt very comfortable.

Unfortunately, the exorbitant prices for electric vehicle charging stations are unworthy of the hotel!
The charging stations 5 minutes away from the Grand Hotel are free for guests, and publicly accessible stations in the area cost half price per kWh! The hotel should take action!

Magnificent setting, with an effort to maintain the elegance of times gone by. Excellent musical accompaniment, varied, refined, and not banal, performed by a very professional trio. Evidently, given the location, a magnificent fireworks display by the municipality.
Decent service, some significant oversights, and a slightly "scaredy" tone.
Decent food, typical of a palace restaurant, without pretensions to reach the quality of a "gourmand" restaurant.

A great location yes. Walls in the room (at least my room) was thinner than wallpaper, you could hear the whispering in the next room and alley. Moreover, why charge extra for everything? Extra charge on the beach? No ironing self service? I have to use the very expensive laundry service? Way overpriced food too. Definitely do not recommend it for this price.

My grandmother and I stayed at this superb hotel for her birthday. We were not disappointed with our choice!
Thoughtful attention was paid to my grandmother upon arrival, including a little birthday gift. The staff was very kind and welcoming, attentive, especially the pool lifeguards, the wait staff, the reception staff, and the valets. Everyone tried to speak French.
The standard room was more than we expected, with plenty of shower products, water, and coffee pods available. The staff made sure we had slippers and a bed ready for bed at the end of the day.
The pool facing the sea was a great temperature in this heat.

Beautiful hotel. I loved the sea water pool! During dinner some child-care is offered and one evening there even was a magician (royal follies program). Sometimes it is mentioned that they have a sauna but it is a sanarium at 60C. The pizza is tasty but very salty. Unfortunately the choice of alcohol-free drinks is very limited and alcohol is just left out instead of being replaced by for example an alcohol-free gin.

5 Star all the way! Family room on 5th floor is essentially a penthouse type for this class of Hotel. Service is 100% on point, decor needs a closer inspection but oberall worth the money. The Salt water (sea water) pool is fantastic and worth the visit, be aware of the oldies trying to "prebook" loungers before breakfast.. The hotel should prevent them doing so.

Top-notch hotel service, extremely friendly and helpful valets, a luxurious reception and lobby, a renovated historic building, and an outdoor saltwater pool carved into the rock surrounded by loungers and umbrellas. High-level service, quality food, and high prices befitting the 5-star hotel. Located above the Empress Promenade, it's a haven of greenery among cacti, palm trees, and Mediterranean flowers. A little more attention to detail in the facilities and maintenance of the pool could be appreciated, but it's truly unique, appearing carved out of the rock and filled with seawater.

Your car is taken care of right at arrival, as well as luggages. Getting car back on depature was very quick.

Rooms are huge with all expected confort.
Dinner is hotel restaurant terrace was great (and elevated price. Approximately 200€ for 2).
Breakfast buffet was nice but not overwelming. No fresh orange juice. Bred was not 'fresh'.

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!! What a beautiful historic hotel. From the moment we were greeted by Valet I knew this place would not disapoint.
Elegantly decorated interiors throughout the whole hotel. Lovely furnishings and Persian and Turkish rugs line the orginal floors in the lobby and public rooms as well as the guest rooms.
The staff were all friendly and spoke English. Tipping was not easy as some of the staff refused our tips and there is no room to tip on credit card charge forms. This was lovely as we were able to just enjoy the service and location without having to consider tipping everytime we ordered something.
The pool and exterior are a gem. A salt water pool that resembles and acient roman ruin that is giant and deep. The gorgous veranda overlooking the mediteranean is perfect for morning coffee or evening drink. And speaking of drinks...the bar makes amazing drinks.
We had a junior suite with sea view and everything was lovely. Two bathrooms, one with tub, fully lined in Marble with all the amenities you'll need...toothbrush, toothpaste, slippers, robe (even for kids), shampoo, conditioner, body lotions, the list goes on.
I would love to return to this place again, simply to just enjoy the hotel.

A hotel with 150 years of history, everything is great both inside and out. The downsides are the breakfast, apparently it remained the same as 150 years ago :) a poor choice of dishes, almost no fruits and vegetables, oatmeal, low-quality (cheap) ingredients. They do not provide scales, iron. Another downside is the lack of a beach, and the one the hotel cooperates with is quite far away and crowded. The hotel is suitable for a 1-2 day vacation to get acquainted with history, nothing more.

Loved the consistent red/white staff uniforms too - really classy touch!! (I want a red belt and red sneakers now!). Great service too. And clear water in front of the hotel that’s perfect for a swim off the rocks - the lagoon that’s partially enclosed by rocks had quite a bit of floating trash, but the water that was open to the sea was really lovely! (Note that the beach doesn’t belong to the hotel).
So why not 5-stars? I have to demerit a star for two reasons that I hope hotel management notices:
1. Please don’t say you’re eco-conscious when you supply your bathrooms with plastic bottles of individual toiletries. They’re gargantuan - no one could possibly finish a bottle unless staying for a full week. And even if they could be finished, why contribute such terrible plastic waste to the environment?!
2. The idea of a 6-hole mini golf course for kids is terrific!! But what you offered was AWFUL. You can’t play mini golf on slabs of concrete!!! Why not cover them with turf and get some kid sized rubber-tipped mini golf clubs?!?!
These are small fixes that would have big impacts. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

The Royal, a true palace, 5-star luxury...
Yet, accustomed to staying at numerous 5-star luxury hotels across Europe, we were pleasantly surprised by the services of this hotel, which take us back to the pre-Covid era and the Riviera of an opulent past.
First of all, a huge congratulations to the hotel manager and his staff. The Royal is a huge machine, yet we couldn't find any significant flaws.
Whether at the desk, the restaurant, the pool house, breakfast, room service, bellhops, concierges, or housekeeping... Everything is perfect.
Whether it's the quality of the bedding, linens, bathrobes, room amenities, maintenance, rooms, common areas, pool, or even the spa, everything is wonderfully high-quality.
The Royal is one of those rare hotels that hasn't mindlessly cut margins by sacrificing essentials and the little luxuries that go with them.
Now, everywhere you go, there are fewer or very poor-quality products, fewer small towels in the common areas, no chocolate, no opening hours, no beds, no minibar, or just water, ridiculous quantities of food served in the restaurants, restrictions on towels and bathrobes at the pool... the audits and management techniques of the so-called new world have killed off some of the luxury hotels, and seasonal rentals have finished the job!
At the Royal, however, none of that, except for the size of the wine glasses served, which remains a much smaller detail.
We stayed there for seven nights, and we will return.

A quick weekend trip to visit some family. I booked the most expensive hotel that was open for the season expecting similar standards to the US. The greeting at the entrance and the service and demeanor of the front desk was the highlight of the trip. On both shifts the front desk was OUTSTANDING. Where the hotel fell short was: it took me 1 hr 25 min to get my bag to my room. Lunch x 2: The food was average and the service took a long time. The second day I tried the pool and after 45 min I left without anyone approaching me for meal or drink service after I asked twice. The pool manger was fantastic, but the poolside service was below average. The bed was harder than I was accustomed to, and there was no option of Air Conditioning at night. Their global hotel status allows them to either heat or cool but not both. I was surprised that this occurred at a 5 star hotel during their slow season. Their is no better location than this hotel. All restaurants are walking distance. A taxi ride anywhere costs about 11.5 Euros. Overall a pleasant experience however the Euro to Quality/Luxury ratio did not fully pencil out. I will definitely give them another try next year.

Underwhelming experience, upon arrival we we’re impressed by the architecture of this historic hotel, once your checked in you get an actual key to open your room, the downside to this that the key comes with a massive metal, heavy keychain which is a drag to carry around. Once you take a closer look to the hotel you’ll see that the hotel needs loads of upgrading, it’s just old and is kind of disintegrating. Staff was overall very nice but me and my partner did feel like we got treated differently than some other guests due to our younger age (20 and 22), there was different language usage and mannerisms towards us than the people sitting around us in the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was really good, the pool is lovely but the absolute best part of this hotel is the spa!
Overall way too expensive for what the hotel is in its current state.

Just as a grand hotel should be: a friendly welcome upon arrival, a vehicle is taken care of, and any necessary assistance is provided without asking with incredible friendliness. The reception is multilingual, making check-in easy. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean, and then there's the view. The service on the terrace, as well as at breakfast, is excellent. Prices are very reasonable; we would be happy to return at the next opportunity. By the way, pets are allowed, just not in the restaurant or breakfast area. We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and loved it very much. We had the junior suite and they upgraded us to another one with a balcony. The location is perfect, easy to walk to the downtown area, tons of shopping and eateries. The hotel staff was super nice and very professional. One thing to note, we did not have good WiFi and that was annoying however, the management went out of their way, trying to fix it. It seemed like it was an issue just in this room, I'm sure they will rectify it in the future. Breakfast was amazing, and the pool refreshing as it was pretty hot.

We had some concerns and suggestions though: we had upgrade upon availability in our reservation but we were told there is no availability (though there were many still to book on their website and external websites for the same day). So I have some concerns there for transparency. I didnt challenge the reception because next upgrade level would have been hill view and didnt want to loose sea view. Second suggestion is for the spa treatment. Everything was excellent except that message was done with gloves on! This created sometimes stretch sounds during massage which were not relaxing and were disturbing. They should make it clear during time of booking such practices being followed.
Bit with these two concerns, our trip , stay and overall service doesnt deserve any less points. Exceptional!

Let's start with the assumption that this is a historic building... so you can see some signs of wear and tear caused by time. Otherwise, everything is pretty perfect. The hotel is impressive, with beautiful lounges welcoming guests with large windows overlooking the sea, a well-kept park, and a breakfast room that serves an excellent continental breakfast. The rooms are large and welcoming, but the only flaw is that with the windows open, you can hear the air conditioning, so they should install some kind of barrier to muffle the noise.
What about the pool... truly superb, with saltwater, welcoming for the little ones and relaxing for adults, and with a staff led by Francesco (pool master), helpful and capable, who takes care of every need as quickly as possible (the management made an excellent choice of staff).
The Royal has an agreement with the Imperatrice beach resort, where we stayed for a week and had a great time because of the fantastic sea, the good facilities, and excellent food.
The location obviously makes the difference, as we're just steps from the center.
We'll definitely be back because we love Sanremo and had a great time. I highly recommend the Royal, especially for families who want a stress-free vacation with all the comforts.

The service is worthy of a true 5-star luxury hotel, as per the hotelier's handbook. Everything was perfect and impeccable, from the breakfast service in Old Sheffield to the piano entertainment in the hotel bar, not to mention the courtesy of the staff. Truly superb.
The problem is the structure: upon entering, you step back 40 years. The rooms are quite dated and in need of modernization; our door still had a key, there's no coffee machine, and no multimedia entertainment system (Chromecast or similar): all things you expect in a 5-star luxury hotel in 2022.
I sincerely hope to return in the coming years and find the situation improved, because a property like this (with a stunning swimming pool, designed by Gio Ponti, filled with seawater) deserves to be better appreciated, especially given the number of foreign tourists it hosts.

I would like to preface that the location of the hotel and the sea view from the terrace are very unique. In addition, I am aware that we visited the hotel in the high season and that service may be lower due to the crowds. Having said that, we still leave with a not entirely satisfied feeling, because of the following:
-the breakfast buffet was limited and not varied. Although, cake and English breakfast were plentiful, while healthy options were lacking. They only had the sugared varieties of the granola and the low fat yogurt also turned out to be rare. You could order a la carte if you asked, but these options were also far from generous.
-the room: because we had reserved through Amex, we were entitled to an upgrade depending on availability. The first two nights the hotel was fully booked and this was therefore impossible, but the last two nights we were indeed moved to a junior suite. So this was neatly arranged. However, in our opinion the suite did not meet 5-star standards; It was uncomfortable to take a shower in a bath and the air conditioning left a lot to be desired: it leaked and as a result went off at night (result: a very warm room). Attempts by ourselves and half the staff to connect to the Chromecast were in vain; So watching a series was not an option.
-the fitness room was completely dated and very small. Clearly no effort has been put into keeping this up to date.
All in all, I can say that we had a wonderful time by the charming swimming pool, that we enjoyed the food on the various terraces, that the staff did their very best, that the cocktail party in honor of the 150th anniversary was a successful initiative and that the beautiful building made an impression. We therefore understand that the hotel once belonged to the Leading Hotels. But an old building needs to be properly maintained, otherwise in our opinion it simply does not meet the current standards that you can expect for this price. We would therefore choose a different hotel next time.

After ordering a non-alcoholic beer at the pool because I'm pregnant, I pointed out that it's 0.3% alcohol and that there's clearly a logo prohibiting this drink for pregnant women. Response: "It's not up to us to check what you can consume..." No gesture, not even an offer of a bottle of water or a coke as a replacement. Given the price of the rooms, I'm surprised that the establishment is one beer short and can't make a goodwill gesture... The rest of the stay went well and the rest of the staff is very attentive. However, the rooms are poorly insulated. Noise in the corridors and you can hear the people above.

Whether you like the Belle Époque style or prefer something more modern, it's hard to be disappointed by this beautiful, charming hotel and its impeccable service.
Large, very comfortable rooms, and if they have a sea view and balcony, it's magical. Valet parking, a very good breakfast, and a modern and comprehensive spa are available to guests. The heated pool is beautifully designed with exposed stone.
Everything is within walking distance for visiting the center of Sanremo.
The best part is the service and the very attentive and friendly staff.

Stayed here last week .Sea view room was nice and cleaned well each day.Breakfast was poor compared to our previous stays.Swimming pool area needs improving but it needed this a few years ago, very tired decking uneaven crazy paving with deteriorating pointing and tiles that ends up in the pool which remained there during our 5 days.Lovely pool but should be swept down each night especially as it closes at 6pm.The Hotel is beautiful but you can only live of this for so long .

A very nice place with excellent service and a perfect location. We had a great room with a terrace and a fantastic view. The pool area is very nice and offers plenty of fun. It's just a few steps to town or the beach. You should definitely rent a bike and ride along the beautiful path by the sea.

Excellent stay. We enjoyed our week at the Royal Sanremo. The Royal stand out for it impecable service. Both restaurants offer a classic italian kitchen with ligurian influences with a wine list for all budgets. We had a comfortable old-school Superior Room with a small balcony. Great seaview and view on the hotel gardens with its impressive palms. In the evening enjoying the aperitivo on the bar's terrace with piano tunes in the background. Pool area was quite crowded as it was high season. It was lovely to enjoy breakfast each morning on the terrace, however breakfast buffet is a point of improvement it missed a bit the 'finesse' one expects of a 5 star luxury hotel.

The room was clean enough, however, the bathroom was subpar (hair under the sink, mold in the shower).
The room's soundproofing was average.
The pool needs renovation.
The food served at the poolside bar/restaurant was not very good.
In conclusion: the value for money is poor for a 5-star hotel.

I stayed at the Royal Hotel Sanremo for a week (specifically, during the August bank holiday) and had a wonderful time.
Attention to detail and professionalism are undoubtedly the two cornerstones that guide the work of all the staff. The room was always clean and tidy, fresh fruit was brought to us every day, and everyone was very kind. Our room also had a breathtaking view of the sea that made it feel like we were on a ship.
The common areas (such as the pool, bar area, and breakfast room) were also meticulously maintained and fully compliant with anti-Covid regulations (social distancing, mandatory masks, hand sanitizer dispensers, etc.).
Even breakfast, undoubtedly the most difficult part of organizing during this period, was organized very efficiently, with the staff actively involved in providing service.
The cuisine is absolutely excellent: the half-board option allowed us to try practically every dish on the menu, and we were thrilled (the desserts are truly delicious!)
I disagree with those who complain about the small staff; in fact, I applaud them for working as if they were many more, despite their reduced number, and maintaining the high standards that define this hotel.
It was a truly relaxing holiday, and I felt truly pampered. The Royal Hotel made me forget all the worries of the past few months, and I thank them very much.
I recommend staying at this pearl of the Riviera to anyone who needs a bit of a break.

A fairly large and very pleasant seawater pool. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Top-notch breakfast. Unfortunately, the spa was not accessible due to COVID. It's worth mentioning that there are a few steps to get down to the pool or to reach the town, as the hotel's garden and pool area are spread over several levels. For casino enthusiasts, there's a 5-minute walk away. I highly recommend this majestic place for a charming and timeless stay!

A truly Italian palace in the purest tradition.
Beautiful rooms, superb indoor and outdoor spaces, and a sublime seawater pool overlooking the sea just below.
The service is on par with the quality of the amenities. A discreet and highly professional team, despite the Covid-19 restrictions.
A special thank you to Mimi at reception and Francesco at the pool.
The only thing missing is a private beach, although a few sun loungers are reserved for guests just opposite. You have to be quick during peak season, though, as the quota is limited.
We didn't regret our 8 relaxing days in this hotel and in this region with its many excellent restaurants. We will be back...

Rosa was the highlight of our visit to Sanremo. At the reception she greeted us warmly and professionally at 11pm and checked us out the next afternoon.
The hotel is an old grand hotel who’s height was really in the 60s. Huge renovations would need to be considered but the glamor still remains which is very hard to find these days. The breakfast in the morning was outstanding and all staff extremely professional.

A dream hotel where you can feel wonderful. You are welcomed like a king and have everything you need to feel good. The pool is a delight. You can take a bath, you can tan and you can enjoy a snack. It fully compensates for the fact that if you don't get up early you risk not receiving a voucher for a place on the beach.
The breakfast is complete. Everything is so good that it should be avoided by those who want to lose weight because everything is too tempting. If you have breakfast outside on the terrace you will have to defend your food from pigeons who are also tempted by excellent food.
In the evening, dinner at the pool restaurant offers everything you could want.

Pleasant lounge areas, smoking room, original decor and chandeliers. The spa is difficult to access when it gets a bit crowded (maximum 17 people, which is a bit tight for a hotel with just over a hundred rooms), and it's a shame the hammam was out of order. It's also a shame to see the behavior of some people, who think they're at the pool and don't understand that it's a place of relaxation where peace and quiet should be a must...

We spent four days at this beautiful hotel, and it was really good. We had a suite on the fifth floor with a large terrace and a stunning view. Everything was very well-maintained and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly. The breakfast buffet was good, but nothing more. Pancakes cost extra. The outdoor terrace was very nice. The highlight was definitely the historic pool. Very unique and beautiful. Heated. Enough sun loungers for everyone. Prices for food and drinks were very high. We didn't go to the beach area. The hotel could certainly use a few renovations, but that's part of the charm of bygone days. The location is, of course, top-notch. Right on the beach and in town. We highly recommend the hotel.

A splendid hotel, arguably one of the best on the Western Ligurian Riviera! The large, art deco rooms create a cosmopolitan and vaguely alienating atmosphere that allows guests to forget space and time, inviting them to rest and relax! The breakfast room is marvelous, with its floral glass decorations that wrap around the cornice. The large windows are beautiful, allowing ample light into the room! The rooms are spacious, especially those with sea views, with balconies featuring wrought-iron balustrades, art deco bathrooms with old-fashioned tubs, and attention to detail!
The waterfall pool, surrounded by vegetation reminiscent of a tropical jungle, is discreet, welcoming, and very beautiful.
Highly recommended; although far from cheap, the service is worth the expense!
