We stayed at this wonderful hotel from October 18th to 26th, 2025, and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Although the season ended on October 26th, 2025, the service remained consistently excellent until the very end. On the contrary! We were once again very satisfied and would love to return. The hotel is also very accommodating and solution-oriented should any unexpected problems arise. Our room requests were also fully accommodated. The staff's excellent German language skills and the newly renovated spa area are particularly noteworthy.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and was extremely satisfied. The location was ideal, just steps from the city's main attractions, but what really made my stay special was the breakfast. Every morning, a wide selection of fresh pastries, fruit, cereals, and savory dishes awaited you in a bright and welcoming atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients was truly high, and the staff was always smiling and ready to accommodate every request.
The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay. The free Wi-Fi was fast and stable, which is always a plus. Kudos to the staff, especially Gianni, for their helpfulness and courtesy. I will definitely return to this hotel!

We had a nice one-week-stay for our honeymoon and had a great Suite with whirl pool and big terrace.
The staff surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and some fresh fruits in our room as gift for our wedding.
Breakfast was really good with fresh cheese, ham and prosciutto as well as fresh fruits and home-made cakes. Also the egg-station was great.
We’ve visited several times the new wellness area and booked 3 massages while our stay.
They have been one of the best, comparing to other hotels around the world.
The hotel is located in the hills with a great view on the lake.
There are some hiking trails around the wineyards and olive farms.
And the hotel is very dog-friendly.

We liked the hotel. The service was very friendly and the room was clean with a lovely balcony. I just needed a grab bar in the shower. The breakfast was varied, and especially worth mentioning was the sparkling wine every day and a diverse cake buffet. This isn't something to be taken for granted. The indoor pool was 31 degrees Celsius, while the outdoor pool in April was around 21 degrees Celsius, unfortunately not heated. I would like to see a clock on the wall by the indoor pool and for it to be open from 7:00 a.m. in the morning and until 8:00 p.m. in the evening. The entrance to the pool was a bit inconvenient for guests with disabilities. The main door was always closed, and I could only walk across the shower to get to the indoor pool, which meant my feet were always wet and there was a risk of slipping. Overall, it was a nice stay.

In the middle, there's a bistro with drinks and snacks. Lunch was à la carte.
All areas are kept very clean.

Let's start with the hotel's strong point: the view. Truly spectacular, especially at sunset. I recommend booking a lake view room; it's worth it.
The property is beautiful, with a mix of rustic and modern style. All the staff are incredibly friendly.
The pool area is lovely, and even the spa, though small, is welcoming, with a herbal tea corner included.
The bistro makes divine pizza, and breakfast is unforgettable. They have everything you could want.
In my opinion, the cocktails and the bar service in general could be improved; the wait staff seems a little lacking in experience. Nothing that affects the overall quality, however.
The only negative: the mosquitoes. I stayed at the beginning of September, and at 5:30 PM sharp, I had to escape from the pool because they were truly hungry. I don't know if it can be solved with some kind of pest control...
We'll definitely be back soon and will bring our dog too, because we've seen that dogs are welcomed and can go anywhere!

The location is very quiet, perfect for relaxation. The views are stunning, and it's perfectly situated near the lake (Garda, etc.), the Affi Shopping Center, and much more.
Rooms:
There's absolutely nothing to complain about – a great shower, a comfortable bed (the firm mattress is a matter of personal preference), a fantastic view from the balcony, air conditioning – everything you could wish for.
Dining:
The breakfast is absolutely perfect – a huge selection, everything fresh, and the buffet is replenished right up until the last minute.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant is highly recommended; it's delicious and of high quality. The only thing missing is a slightly larger menu.
Service:
Very attentive and friendly staff – whether at breakfast, the pool bar, reception, the bar, or dinner.
Special extra: Ordering from the pool bar directly from your sun lounger using an app – the perfect bonus for relaxation.

Our first family trip with a 5-month-old baby, the hotel is great, the staff is attentive, the simple rooms are comfortable and very quiet. The exterior is magnificent, with a splendid view of the lake. The facilities are pleasant, my only slight complaint being the pool temperature, which was really chilly for me, and lastly, the difficulty in making reservations at the hotel restaurant. We chose this hotel precisely because of this, to make evenings easier with a 5-month-old baby, but we had to insist quite a bit to get a table. We ended up eating elsewhere towards the end of our stay, tired of insisting every day. But otherwise, I recommend it 100%.

My husband and I have been spending our holidays at this wonderful property for years.
This year we were treated to a fabulous room upgrade and spent four wonderful days in the whirlpool suite truly amazing! The restaurant also offered an excellent menu this year and truly superb pizzas!
I also treated myself to a wonderful facial treatment; the beautician was excellent and the products were excellent.
The staff is wonderful smiling, kind, and so helpful.
The only real problem with the Boffenigo is having to leave because the holidays are over...

We recently stayed at Boffenigo - The Golden Hour for the first time. Overall, we were very disappointed with the food. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth a star. The scrambled eggs at the breakfast buffet were often cold and sometimes not refilled. We were very tired of the pre-baked rolls by the end. Quote from booking.com: "Fabulous breakfast included in the price"?! Must be a joke. The coffee from the machine was unfortunately undrinkable, and several guests complained. The lunch menu was similar. Overpriced, ready-made portions and sandwiches that couldn't be customized (quote: "The sandwiches are already made, so you can't change anything"). The service was generally inattentive, with a few exceptions. After 3 p.m., there were only three sandwiches to choose from until the evening. A real nuisance for children.
The rooms, on the other hand, were relatively newly designed and showed hardly any signs of wear.
Overall, a nice facility, but the overall concept isn't right. What a shame!

This hotel offers excellent views of Lake Garda if you book a room with a view for an additional charge—I believe it was €100 extra for two nights. It’s located about a 15-minute drive from the lake, making it a peaceful retreat slightly removed from the busiest tourist areas.
The self-service breakfast provides a good variety of options, including a station where omelets are made to order. Our vacation was active and included e-biking around the lake and off-road trails. The hotel conveniently offers a bike storage room, which was very helpful.
We didn’t have dinner at the hotel, always choosing to dine in town, so I can’t comment on the restaurant’s food. There is a pool on-site, and while the rooms were clean, they were just average in terms of comfort and amenities.

This year I returned to spend my holidays on Lake Garda and we chose this hotel again for our stay. Last year there were a few things I felt could be improved, but this year I was very pleasantly surprised because it's clear this is a hotel that cares about improvement and pays attention to both the small and large details. The dining options at Terraza del Boff have improved enormously since chef Giuseppe D'Aquino joined the team, creating delicious dishes and pizzas. The rooms are incredibly cozy and spacious, with terraces overlooking the lake and offering fantastic sunsets. The breakfasts are very complete; the only thing I would improve is the quality of the coffee, as it's delicious at the pool bar, but the breakfast coffee is somewhat inferior. The staff's service was always impeccable in all areas, with Claudia and Chiara at reception being particularly kind. In short, a perfect place to disconnect, relax, and enjoy!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Boffenigo with our dog in September 2024 on Lake Garda and can highly recommend it! From the moment we entered the hotel, we immediately felt welcome. The location is fantastic, and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Regarding the criticisms:
- The restaurant was recently renovated, but in our opinion, the renovation wasn't successful. While it's more modern, the menu and ambiance used to be of a higher quality. The food isn't as good as it used to be either; there are better options nearby. This is a shame, because the location is still absolutely superb.
- Club music plays continuously by the pool from 11:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and you can hear it (at least the bass) all over the lawn. In the evenings, the music continues in the restaurant and lounge area. So you're subjected to it all day long. It's simply annoying and exhausting if you want to relax and have some peace and quiet for a few days. It's also completely out of character for the clientele.
- In the breakfast area, there are too few tables on the terrace – just as there haven't been for the last 12 years. You have to queue and wait or eat breakfast inside. Suggestion: Replace the lounge chairs by the pool with breakfast tables. Nobody uses the lounge chairs downstairs anyway.
Overall, in our opinion, the concept hasn't been improved. It seems they're trying to appear younger and fresher and attract a different clientele. Whether this approach works remains to be seen. We preferred it before, and given its location, Boffenigo would benefit from a more upscale approach.

Listen up. We had an absolutely fantastic time at this hotel.
The entire staff? First-rate. Friendly, efficient, always with a smile on their faces – just the right amount of service to make you feel completely welcome.
Whether it was the middle of the night because someone in the family needed tea for stomach cramps, or whether I wanted to know exactly where the hotel's parking lot was downtown – bam, someone was there. No questions asked, no fuss. Now that's what I call service, capisce?
The rooms? So comfortable that I almost forgot we weren't actually there to sleep. And the view – my goodness. I almost reached for a cigar, it was so beautiful. And the fact that one of the best restaurants in the area happens to be located right there in the hotel? Ha! Now that's what I call good business. And convenient to boot.
The pool? Already warm as a glass of bourbon in June. The spa? Quiet, stylish, with a great gym and a sauna hot enough to steam away all your stress. And the fact that the place closes at 7 p.m.? Believe me, my kids didn't even discuss it—the rules were clear. Very efficient, very good.

The Golden Hour – a dream stay
We arrived at the Boffenigo for a short two-day break and the experience was simply perfect. From the very beginning we were welcomed by the wonderful staff: smiling, present but never intrusive, always attentive and available.
The room was impeccably clean, welcoming and equipped with every comfort, including a practical bag for the pool – a detail that I really appreciated. The spa, although small, is excellently equipped, well-kept and well-maintained: you can tell that it has been recently renovated. I also had the pleasure of treating myself to a massage at the spa's beauty center, and it was a moment of pure relaxation. The [Confort Zone] products made the experience even more pleasant.
An extra touch of attention? They helped us book a dinner out, but the most magical moment was undoubtedly the dinner on the terrace during the golden hour: a real daydream, with the sunset in the background and live music by Due Terzi, a young group perfectly in tune with the atmosphere of the location.
In short, I am absolutely happy to have chosen this hotel. A place to relax, feel pampered and enjoy every detail. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful holiday there in May 2025.
It's a lovely hotel, though a little dated. The rooms are all clean and well-equipped, especially the beds. Booking a room with a lake view is definitely worthwhile.
The entire property is clean and well-maintained.
The breakfast is plentiful and delicious, and the dinner menu is unique and just as tasty.
But the best thing about the hotel is the staff: professional, friendly, numerous, and always helpful.

The pool and wellness area are very nice and new. The sauna area is particularly noteworthy. The treatments (e.g., relaxing massage) are excellent and completely reasonable in price.
The evening menu was a bit small, but very tasty. Breakfast is very extensive and offers something for everyone, especially additional drinks and freshly prepared dishes (e.g., omelets, etc.).
The in-house cocktail bar is also well-stocked, and the charming service mixes very good and original drinks.

Despite the extremely bad weather during Holy Week, we had a lovely holiday. We were guests at the hotel for the first time. The reception staff were 5 star plus friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Breakfast, the ladies were super friendly there too, quick to clean up at the buffet, service cappuccino, espresso etc. you could order directly to the table. If the weather had cooperated, breakfast outside would have been the icing on the cake. Breakfast selection was very extensive, homemade cakes and pastries, super tasty!! We'd love to come back, maybe we'll be able to enjoy the sun and enjoy the outdoor pool and the large outdoor area. At the same time we had a great room with a lake view, a huge terrace, which was perfect for our dog Idefix. Upon arrival, we received an upgrade without asking, including free use of the spa area. We were very impressed by the latter! The sauna area is newly renovated and very tastefully. Upon request, they heated it up earlier – great service.
The view of the lake, the two pools, and the dinner are truly fantastic.
A handheld shower alone is unfortunately not sufficient for showering. A rain shower would have been more appropriate. The shower is also not very airtight and very narrow.
The breakfast room was rather uncomfortable, and the selection was very limited and not very high quality (some of it was dry, etc.).
The omelet service was great!
I would like to express my sincere gratitude for the service here! Every day, you are greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome. Many hotels could learn a thing or two from this.

We've been coming here at least once a year for 7 years and now feel like we're coming home.
The rooms are beautifully furnished, and the room service is tidy and clean. We've had almost every category, from double rooms to junior suites, regular suites, and family rooms.
The friendly staff at reception are always willing to listen and very helpful.
The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired: there's fresh fruit, you can make your own juice, an omelet station, various cereals, breads, sweet pastries, and a wide selection of cold cuts and cheeses. There's even a gluten-free corner!
The pool is well-maintained and clean; there's always a lounger available, and the pool bar serves food—not outstanding but definitely edible. They also offer gluten-free pasta—important for my son.
On the ground floor, there's a lovingly furnished playroom, a spa with a heated pool, and a corner with exercise equipment.
The location is fantastic, and the view is magnificent. It's away from the hustle and bustle up on the mountain.

We've stayed in hotels on Lake Garda several times, always near the lake. This time we were looking for a hotel higher up and chose the Boffenigo. We booked a standard double room. To our surprise, we were given a large suite with a great view of the lake and a whirlpool on the terrace. Many thanks again to the hotel for this wonderful, unexpected upgrade :-) The breakfast was very good, which is always important for us to start the day well. I was particularly impressed by the large selection of different fruits. The freshly made omelets by the pool were also delicious. In the garden, there's a large outdoor pool and plenty of sun loungers with umbrellas or under olive trees. We were always able to find a spot. The indoor pool floor is missing a few tiles in some places, which could potentially cause injuries and should therefore be repaired during the next off-season at the latest. Other spa facilities are available, but we didn't use them. The staff everywhere were always friendly. There was plenty of parking at the hotel. Due to the location, you'll need a car unless you plan on longer walks or have a bike with you or rent one from the hotel. For us, this certainly won't be our last stay at Boffenigo :-D Many thanks again to the hotel for a few wonderful days.

However, I experienced repeated power outages for extended periods over two days and nights. Nothing worked! It was quite alarming. The staff tried their best, but unfortunately, they didn't find a solution to the problem until the third day. A shame. I was only there for four nights. I received no compensation.
I didn't find the food in the hotel itself very good. I personally preferred eating out. The atmosphere on the terrace in the evening while enjoying cocktails was lovely.

At first, I was a bit skeptical because of some reviews from people who said there were often lots of dogs in the hotel. I didn't have any problems or inconveniences at all...
Great hotel, the staff is incredibly friendly; nothing is too much trouble for them.
Plenty of parking.
Breakfast is very extensive and delicious.
The only downside is that there aren't many high chairs, so sometimes you'll have to do without one.

I stayed here for seven nights in October 2023. The hotel is excellent in terms of location, services, and ease of transportation for visiting the towns on Lake Garda, Venice, and many other activities.
Any future visit to northern Italy will make it my first choice for accommodation, and I highly recommend it.

Our first impression of the hotel was good. The location and the view are beautiful. However, the price-performance ratio is disproportionate.
We booked a junior suite. Our room was worn; instead of the lounge chairs advertised on the website, the balcony had two chairs and a small table. The furniture is very worn; you just have to look at the bathroom and the wardrobe. The mixer lever in the shower, used to open and regulate the water, etc., was so hard to operate that you had to knock on it several times to stop it.
The curtains have mildew and holes, and we received towels with stains (!) several times. The size of the room was also not up to the standard of a junior suite.
There are also renovated rooms, which are supposed to be nice and well-maintained.
It's also a shame that the outdoor pool isn't heated. There's also an indoor pool, where the temperature is around 30 degrees Celsius – so you have an alternative.
The staff at breakfast and at the bar were very friendly and accommodating! Perhaps you should take another look at the menu at the bar to avoid confusion over ordering due to a few translation errors.
We also ate at the hotel one evening. We had a delicious starter of deep-fried dough with various fillings. I then ordered tagliatelle with spinach pesto, but unfortunately, this pesto didn't taste like spinach, but rather of other herbs I couldn't identify. It was served with fried bacon cubes and pine nuts. It would have been nice if the tough, inedible rind had been trimmed off the bacon beforehand. My husband's burger was good. Another guest in the restaurant waited 1.5 hours for his food and was accordingly annoyed.
We have a hybrid vehicle and were happy to be able to charge the car in the underground parking garage. It's a shame that so far, the only option is to charge it for a flat rate of €15 – regardless of actual consumption. However, we were assured that a solution is already being sought.
We also met other guests who planned a longer stay but cut short their vacation after one night due to the deficiencies (also in an unrenovated room of the same category).
In conclusion, the price for the room offered is disproportionate to the service. This is despite the 13% discount we received upon checkout following our complaint. Nevertheless, I think that if you have a renovated room, you can have a nice vacation there overall.

The name says it all: Panorama and Experience. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Garda from both your room and the sunbathing lawn. Even the rooms at the rear offer lovely views of the surrounding countryside. The modern design of the rooms instantly makes you feel comfortable and at home. A generous and fantastic breakfast is served each morning on the terrace by the pool. At midday, mountain bikes beckon you to explore the vineyards, or you can enjoy a round of golf on one of the excellent courses. And if the weather isn't quite cooperating, there's a newly added, stunning, and extensive wellness area, perfect for relaxation – almost too good to miss when the weather is nice. Add to that excellent value for money and even free parking.

We had an aperitif in this very beautiful place with a stratospheric view... but one negative point is the fact that the waiters took everything away with the basket still containing the jatatine (and there wasn't one, but a few...) without asking if we were finished... and we noticed it later... in a place like this you expect the customer to at least be asked if they've finished and if they can take it away...........

We stayed at the Boffenigo last weekend with our ten-month-old baby (her first vacation). The hotel's location is exceptional, very close to Garda and with a unique view. We had booked a basic room, but they upgraded us to a junior suite and gave us free access to the pool! The kindness was the highlight of these days; both the restaurant and reception staff were impeccable and always ready to make us feel welcome. We had a truly wonderful time, and our baby was also very calm and happy. We absolutely recommend it, especially in the summer months, given the green space outside and the large pool (the indoor pool is also very beautiful, and everything is very clean).

We've been coming here for short breaks (4-6 days) since 2009 and have always been very impressed. Unfortunately, not this year. Instead of the excellent restaurant we once had, there's now only a bistro with no a la carte options. We weren't particularly impressed by the quality. It got very warm towards the end of the week. Our question about whether the air conditioning could be turned on was answered with "sorry." Our room was 25 degrees Celsius. The location, ambiance, amenities, and breakfast were perfect as always, but this service only qualifies for a 3-star rating (especially considering the price). I can't say whether we'll still go back.

The hotel is very nice. It's a bit dated, but the rooms are carpet-free and the entire complex is very well-maintained.
The view of Garda and the lake is a dream; you can't help but enjoy it. The entire staff is extremely friendly, polite, and accommodating.
The outdoor pool is really large and beautiful. Unfortunately, we couldn't use it because the weather wasn't ideal. The indoor pool is just as beautiful, with wonderfully warm water, comfortable loungers to relax on, and numerous massage jets. We can't comment on the sauna or massage as we didn't use them.
The breakfast really offers everything you could wish for. It's excellent; it couldn't be better or more varied.
The hotel has many dogs, and they're also allowed in the breakfast room and the restaurant in the evening. We're dog lovers, so it didn't bother us. But it's probably worth knowing: not everyone likes having dogs next to them while eating.
Our room was fine; we booked a double room and got a junior suite on the first floor. The upgrade was very nice; the room was large with a very large balcony. However, the room was directly above the conservatory, where dinner was served in the evening. Accordingly, it was quite loud. The talking and the clatter of dishes were quite audible. We can't imagine what it's like in the summer when the conservatory is open and guests sit on the terrace and eat breakfast outside.
What also bothered us and absolutely didn't like was the bathroom. We apparently had a room for people with disabilities, even though none of us are disabled. The sink was accordingly low and had a long single-lever mixer. You had to bend down quite a bit to wash and brush your teeth and be careful not to get the long single-lever mixer in your face. Also, the sink drained in slow motion. When we asked, we were told that it was supposed to drain that slowly in a room for people with disabilities. No idea why?! Then the shower! It was tiny, completely outdated. We wondered how a disabled person could shower there. There was no shelf in the shower where you could put your toiletries. It was on the floor. If you needed them, you almost had to open the shower door to get to them; it was so narrow. Our double room actually had a nice, large walk-in shower, which was important to us, but with this upgrade, the shower was anything but nice. Furthermore, there was no towel rail or hooks in the entire bathroom to hang anything. There were only two hooks by the door. There was also no coat rail or any other hooks in the entire room to hang a jacket. That would be really easy to change.
All in all, we liked it; the hotel is really nice, clean, and well-maintained. If we go there again, we will request a room facing the garden with a large walk-in shower.

Being "twinning" with Villa Padovani, we only used the restaurant service, which I give a rating of 10. Everything was excellent, from the service to the staff to the menu. I really appreciated the chef's greeting at the end of the dinner, who was keen to explain the choice of courses. Compliments also to the very well-kept location inside and out.

The hotel also has a wallbox for charging electric vehicles.
The rooms are super quiet, truly relaxing.
The breakfast is fabulous! You can find anything you want, or ask for it.

As soon as we arrived, the scenery and hotel itself took our breath away and we felt warmly welcomed by the hotel staff.
Hotel room was nice and clean as were also the common areas like restaurant, pool area, breakfast room, etc. We also liked the bed, it was very comfy to sleep in. We had a third floor room with a mountain view, and the view was beautiful!
Breakfast was well-rounded and everything tasted really good.
My spouse took pedicure with Shellac and was very happy that the result was professional.
All in all, pretty much every aspect of this place was so top notch that there is hardly much, if any, negative to say. Highly recommend.

A hilltop hotel overlooking Lake Garda. A quiet location, surrounded by greenery. Modern facilities, spacious and very clean rooms. I had booked a lake view room, and upon our arrival, they offered us a junior suite at no extra charge.
There are many guest services: we used the mountain bikes and e-bikes. There are many trails nearby, and the reception staff recommended them. Two swimming pools, one heated indoor and one outdoor. A spa area with a sauna, Turkish bath, and massage area with a small refreshment corner. Great attention to detail, exceptionally trained staff. 90% of the guests are international, especially Germans and Austrians. Definitely one of the best hotels I've stayed in Italy.

The Boffenigo stands out for its strategic location, allowing you to enjoy a breathtaking view at any time (the colors of sunrise or the light of sunset... it's always spectacular).
But what makes this property truly excellent is, of course, the staff. Everyone is dedicated to making guests feel at ease. Cleaning and tidiness are meticulous. Breakfast is enjoyable both for the variety of food (excellent) and for the attentive, friendly, fast, and always smiling waitstaff.
The reception was impeccable.
The rooms are spacious, bright, and functional, ensuring maximum comfort. We stayed both in the garden room and on the second floor with a lake view (the change was necessary because we requested an extension of our stay). Personally, we appreciated the former option more, but that's just a matter of personal preference.
The pool and spa are clean.
The garden is well-kept and spacious....It was crowded, but you couldn't feel it.
On August 15th, they offered sangria and fresh fruit, while on August 20th, they celebrated the hotel's twentieth anniversary with us guests, offering a huge birthday cake and a glass of sparkling wine.
The Boffenigo boasts a fantastic team, and the guests can feel it everywhere!

A wonderful experience and a totally relaxing and pampering stay. Exceptional service with meticulous attention to detail. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were truly excellent; we also greatly appreciated the fact that the restaurant chef walked around the tables after dinner to determine what was more expensive and what could be improved, also explaining his wonderful cooking philosophy! The hotel's view was beautiful, yet far from the hustle and bustle, right by the lake, yet immersed in the countryside, which truly conveys a sense of peace and relaxation. Having both an indoor and outdoor pool, practically next to each other, was also wonderful. We had no problems with our dog either; she was able to stay with us in the restaurant and by the pool—a truly pet-friendly hotel! We will definitely return to enjoy a more wonderful stay. Thank you!

The reception at reception was very friendly and nice; the staff is already evident in the high quality of the hotel. This hotel also welcomes your loyal little souls. It is a very beautifully situated hotel, about a 1-hour walk to the lake or 20 minutes by car. On a bike, which you can hire from the hotel, it will take you about 25 minutes and you can explore the area and see many beautiful places that you hardly see in a car. There are various bike paths that are marked with letters and you can get a bike tour map at reception. If you wish, you can also book a short wine tour with tasting. This hotel is designed for pure relaxation and offers you food and drinks of a very high standard.

This is the second time we've been able to spend our vacation with you.
This time, too, it was a wonderful time.
We continually enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Garda. Not too far from the lake, you escape the hustle and bustle of mass tourism, aggressive cyclists, and drivers. Here, guests are rewarded with a wonderful, relaxing vacation!
The well-kept garden with pool tempts you to linger. The hours fly by. And if clouds appear, you can catch up on the fun in the indoor pool.
Unfortunately, we didn't manage to use the wellness area again because we simply didn't have enough time!
We're already looking forward to next year, when we'll be planning a stopover at the Hotel Boffenigo on our way to the Italian Riviera!

A bit off the beaten track, it's ideal for relaxation. The hotel grounds are very well-maintained. The staff are very approachable and friendly.
Quality and prices are consistent. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced. The prices at the pool bar are also absolutely reasonable.
The only drawback was the bathroom...a bit too small, and the shower was only available in the bathtub.
Many thanks to all the hotel staff for their genuine friendliness.
I'd be happy to return if I have the chance. A hotel with a high feel-good factor.

One person whom stood out from everyone was Mayla. In my humble opinion she’s the embodiment of a service professional. She was always poised, elegant and in control of the situation. From the very beginning, we felt comfortable and warmly welcomed.
A few details about the hotel, rooms, and service:
The hotel is situated in a quiet location above Lake Garda. The towns of Bardolino and Lazise are easily accessible by car.
The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. We had breakfast included, which left little to be desired. There was a wide selection of fruit and pastries, and fresh fried eggs and omelets were prepared for us.
Vegetarians are also well catered for.
The rooms are spacious (we had an upgrade to a Junior Suite with a lake view) and very clean. Admittedly, some things could use some renovation or updating.
It's worth noting that some rooms have en-suite bathrooms, which I don't find particularly appealing. In the separate bathrooms, please be aware that the shower is located within the bathtub. This is rather inconvenient for travelers with mobility issues.
The hotel has two elevators that go to the top floor.
The air conditioning can only be controlled from reception (turned on and off). However, reception is staffed 24 hours a day and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The grounds are well-maintained and the pool is lovely.
The indoor pool and spa area should be booked in advance; otherwise, there are daily charges.
There is ample parking.
Dogs are welcome, both in the breakfast room and at the outdoor pool area. There are special rooms for guests with dogs, as well as a small, fenced-in dog play area.
We had a bit of a post-holiday blues after leaving... it was simply wonderful, and we will definitely book again.

Great hotel. Seldom case where everything was very good. Nice clean room, good breakfast and restaurant, great room service and friendly personnel, warm indoor pool and well kept spa zone with 3 different saunas. There is also small gym and a playing room for kids. Silent location, good for travellers by car.

One word: Great.
Otherwise, I have to elaborate a bit...the hotel has a beautiful location on a hill with a great view of the lake. High above, a bit off the beaten track. Beautiful terrace, large pool, lovely indoor pool, extensive breakfast buffet with homemade cakes. Wonderful service, very attentive and very friendly. Guests are happy to help. At breakfast, at reception, in the evening on the terrace, and at the bar. Examples: Coffee is refilled in the morning. Smoothie machine not working? Someone takes care of it. Great. Everything is quickly refilled at the buffet.
Daily two-page hotel newspaper with tips and tricks. Rooms are nice, classy - no carpet. Lots of little details: Bedding smells good, a bedtime treat in the evening, soft towels, even for the pool. Sunbathing lawn with olive trees. Rooms with a large, shady balcony.
Highlight - the restaurant. La Terrazza del Boff. Best for hotel guests, of course... fine dining and a lovely overnight stay.
Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the spa area.
There was a construction site in the neighborhood. Just a heads-up. We were surprised by the glass bathroom door. It wasn't a bit "private" for us.
And the Wi-Fi is open. I'm not a big fan of that. Otherwise, we felt very comfortable. Hopefully, we'll find the time to go there again.

We ended our honeymoon trip at Lake Garda after almost 3 weeks of traveling through Sicily. It was an incredible choice to rest from all the adventures. The staff is extremely attentive and helpful, having done many kind things throughout our short stay. The hotel facilities are perfect, the breakfast is one of the best I've ever had (in my life! And luckily I have a large sample) and the spa is super complete. The outdoor pool is very spacious and everything is beautifully arranged. The rooms are comfortable and decorated with attention to detail. We booked directly with the hotel, which allowed us to enjoy a more attractive price and more advantageous access to the spa and extras.
The only somewhat unusual episode, which doesn't directly involve the hotel but rather its guests, was seeing some naked individuals in the sauna area. Perhaps it's culturally normal among German people, but for us (Portuguese) it's not usual. I don't know if all guests will be comfortable with others being naked, so I suggest wearing swimwear in those areas.
Once again, thank you so much for all your care and attention! We would love to return in the near future to better explore the Lake and Verona area, and you will undoubtedly be our first choice for accommodation!

I stayed at this property with my husband and our two dogs for a whole week.
It wasn't a coincidence that we chose to stay here because we had already stayed in September and had a wonderful time.
So much so that we decided to return.
The second time was also wonderful.
The hotel's strong point, beyond the splendid view, is the staff.
Always smiling, kind, friendly, and competent, from all the staff, from the cleaning lady, the spa girls, the dining room and kitchen staff, the receptionists, and maintenance.
The owner himself is very courteous and kind.
We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was clean and spacious.
Our dogs were welcomed like special guests by everyone.
We dined every evening in the splendid restaurant, which deserves its 5-star rating.
We enjoyed the spa treatments, which are highly recommended.
We developed a wonderful relationship with all the staff, and we felt at ease at all times.

The trout appetizer was excellent, but the lamb en croute was truly cooked to perfection and delicious. The place has a magnificent view. The wine list is just adequate for the selection, but with good products. Very fair prices. A place worth visiting.

It was wonderful! Such a beautiful, clean, and well-maintained hotel!
The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming – from the cleaning staff, restaurant, spa, and bar to the reception, you could tell that everyone there enjoys working there.

There was construction going on – it didn't bother us. The rooms are very well insulated. We were also informed about a crane across the street before our arrival. It wasn't disruptive at all.
We traveled as a couple with our dog and were very pleased with how dog-friendly the hotel was. We didn't expect it to be, so we were all the more surprised.
As frequent travelers, we can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!

We've spent our holidays in this dreamlike place quite often. Waking up in the morning, the Garda valley and its bay at your feet, the mountains on either side... a dream. Then you head off to the truly sumptuous breakfast, which we prefer to enjoy outside by the pool. The friendly staff bring coffee, cappuccino, and whatever your heart desires. One of the hotel's kind souls, Vanessa or Chiara, offers great tips for the day and is always happy to answer any questions or requests. A dinner to remember
We dined at the Boffenigo Hotel restaurant, and it was excellent from the first course to dessert.
The staff were friendly and professional; we had the pleasure of speaking with the chef, who described the dishes to us, and with the owner, who was very helpful.
The atmosphere was very tastefully designed and clean. I was particularly struck by the scent of the tablecloth and napkins, which was very pleasant.

Quality comes at a price, especially these days. Unfortunately, I had a swimming accident on the last day while trying to save a little boy from drowning. I had to cancel my adjoining vacation because I needed knee surgery. A suggestion for the hotel: Please provide suitable aids. Unfortunately, there were no wheelchairs or crutches available for emergencies. That's my suggestion to you. Otherwise, everything was very good

We stayed at the Hotel Boffenigo for ten days and had a room with a balcony overlooking Lake Garda – if you like spending your evenings on a balcony, you should treat yourself to this view.
The room was very clean, and the amenities were excellent. The breakfast in the morning was truly amazing (mainly sweet, but savory options are also available). The attentive staff constantly refilled the buffet and took care of everything.
The wellness area was well-equipped with various saunas, a training room, and an equipment room.
We definitely felt completely at home and will definitely be back :)

The hotel, the outdoor facilities, and the staff are simply fantastic! We really enjoyed our week at the hotel. We had a junior suite, even though we only booked a standard double room. The room was very spacious, with a large bathroom and a comfortable seating area. From the balcony, we had a fantastic view of Lake Garda and the hotel's outdoor area. The staff, from room service and reception to those at the breakfast buffet and in the restaurant, were very friendly and attentive.
The hotel's own restaurant offers excellent cuisine. It's a bit on the expensive side, though the price is definitely worth it. In the evening, you can also order lighter bites like a ham or cheese platter on the outdoor terrace or at the bar. These are also very delicious.
The sunbathing lawn with its numerous olive trees and large pool is very spacious, and you can always find a cozy spot. There's also a pool bar. There are plenty of parking spaces, and you can also use the underground garage (two electric charging stations are also available). The location was also great for us, just above Lake Garda with a wonderful view of the lake and away from the hustle and bustle, but still very central.

A high-end hotel with a panoramic location and a wonderful view of the lake. Peace and relaxation are guaranteed. The staff are helpful and friendly. The indoor and outdoor pools are truly remarkable. The breakfast is generous and tasty, and there are various options for lunch by the pool. A little more attention to detail would be fantastic: the umbrellas are poorly maintained and dirty, the parking lot is completely uncovered (a simple canopy would be enough to protect from the sun and any potential storms; considering the number of cars parked, I think it's the bare minimum). Our room had wicker bedside tables and a table, and the outlets were on the opposite wall. The bathroom was small and windowless (given the price of the room, I was perhaps expecting a little more). It wouldn't take much...!! Highly recommended!

An impromptu weekend on Lake Garda allowed us to discover this little gem: a quiet location, surrounded by greenery yet strategically positioned with a breathtaking view of the lake. Mountain bikes are available to reach the lakefront. The terraced pool is very relaxing. Breakfast is sumptuous and delightful in the garden. The on-site restaurant is equally worthy, with excellent food and original dishes served in an exquisitely furnished room, surrounded by windows for even more stunning views. I stayed at this property over the Halloween long weekend with my husband. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, even when faced with a last-minute restaurant request for that evening, despite it being a Saturday, they were super quick to recommend a suitable restaurant (I wanted porcini mushrooms!), and we had a wonderful time. Breakfast is plentiful, ranging from sweet to savory; the chef prepares all the dishes himself, and the quality is evident on the palate. The hotel also offers a spa, with a thermal pool, gym, tiny Kneipp path, sauna, and relaxation area.
Only flaws:
- Children are allowed in the spa. During my stay, I wasn't able to relax properly because the little guests continually dived into the thermal pool, and between screams and games, I found it really difficult to unwind. I would suggest setting up a dedicated area for them, with staff able to distract them while the adults relax in complete tranquility.
The Kneipp path is truly tiny, making it difficult to enjoy efficiently. A sauna and a Turkish bath cannot be used due to COVID-19. However, the main sauna (about 4 x 3 meters) accommodated 4 or 5 people crammed together, making it truly difficult to enjoy it safely. I realize this is the fault of impolite guests. However, I urge the hotel to at least reopen the other sauna and post signs indicating the maximum number of people allowed in, so as to properly manage the flow of people, ensuring no one is left empty-handed.
I would have appreciated herbal teas or other beverages in the relaxation area, including disposable paper cups; in the absence of this due to pandemic-related reasons, at least a kettle in the room would have been appreciated.
The value for money is acceptable; I've stayed in better facilities at lower prices, but since it's the holiday season, I understand.
Despite everything, I decided to give it 4 stars because the staff, both at reception and in the spa, were really friendly and helpful.

We would have liked to have extended our stay for another two nights, but then checked out after two. One reason was that the bed was really hard, even despite the topper that was brought after one night. A second deciding factor was that the room doors are unfortunately very thin. You can hear everything, so you get woken up very early in the morning. It seems as if some dog owners walk their dogs there. The dogs are very quiet, but the doors are so thin that you still get woken up several times from around 6:30 a.m. onwards. In summary, an uncomfortable bed and room doors that are far too thin. That's a shame. But both could be changed.

The massage we had with the gentle and kind woman was also very professional. The hotel's location is excellent, in an extremely quiet area. We also appreciated the helpfulness of the reservation team, who promptly responded to and accommodated all our requests. The dinners were also outstanding; the chef, who went around the tables on Saturday evening to introduce himself, was truly lovely. We'll definitely be back.

The only downside is the reception staff, who lack helpfulness and service.
The hotel staff fully adheres to the COVID protocols, and you feel well taken care of. Unfortunately, the increased effort naturally affects the breakfast service. Nevertheless, the staff tries their best.
The rooms are good and clean, considering their age.
There are many dogs at the hotel who enjoy complete freedom, such as eating food from the tables or even urinating in the garden's sunbathing area. This is due to the owners of the dogs. The hotel should establish some rules to prevent dog owners from feeling disturbed.
All in all, a good place to stay on Lake Garda.

I was here many years ago. A lot has changed, of course. Besides the great location, the hotel is very dog-friendly and service-oriented. We felt more than comfortable, as did our Labrador. The restaurant has a manageable selection of very high-quality fish and meat dishes, all of which are visually appealing. The wine list could be more extensive, but you won't go thirsty. We checked in late so we couldn't claim the welcome drinks. There is a huge pool outside, and a smaller one inside. We were told by the operators that one can swim at anytime in the pool outside. There's a sauna, and a gym. Rooms were cool and bathrooms were clean. Had a nice view from the balcony, though not of the lake. Some rooms have a Lake view. We were here at the high season, so prices were high, which is expected. I'd highly recommend this place.

It's a really nice hotel for a wellness or sports trip. The pools(inside and outside) are really nice as well as the spa. The buffet for breakfast has a nice amount of varieties. The rooms are really nice and modern, the glass which separates the hotelroom from the bathroom is partly see through but if you're comfortable with that the rooms are totally nice. They are cleaning your room twice a day. They also offer some bike rooms if you want to go cycling in this area.

Where do I begin? A peaceful location with a fantastic view. A very beautiful property. Clean rooms. The staff was incredibly good, friendly, and competent, offering excellent tips for excursions that weren't in any guidebook. The breakfast buffet had everything I needed for a great start to the day.

The view is picture-perfect... dining on the terrace is an unforgettable experience... the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, both inside and outside the hotel, with kind and cheerful receptionists... something you don't see every day... The same comparison can be found with the table service, with the waiters being knowledgeable and eager to explain each dish to you, right down to the wine selection... As for dinner... the dishes were worthy of a Michelin-starred award, with delightful flavors, taste, and a great deal of refinement... An experience I highly recommend... I'll definitely do it again...
I hope they receive prestigious awards soon.

More than a hotel, it's an experience. The Boffenigo is a fantastic place. The staff is very attentive and capable, your every wish is their command. Wonderful rooms, impeccably clean, and extremely comfortable beds. It doesn't get any better than this!

We were made very welcome, our dog was welcome too. The staff are very helpful and friendly, they went out of their way to be helpful and charming. Food in the restaurant in the evening was excellent if pricey but you get a lot for your money so we recommend you eat in one evening. Nice pool and gardens location handy for the lake. Hope to visit again one day.

Great hotel, fantastic service. The upgrade to the suite was absolutely amazing. The wellness area is a private one with a sauna and whirlpool. A wonderful terrace with a fantastic view. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is moderately high in terms of service and prices (for the meat or seafood tasting menu, we're over €50/person).
The young chef (who came to our table at the end of the evening) offers delicious dishes elegantly presented, as expected from a restaurant of this type. The only complaint, in a very good menu (the lamb was spectacular), was that the linguine was a bit overcooked.
Impeccable service, with attentive but not intrusive staff. Special praise goes to sommelier Enrico, a professional and pleasant person, whose explanations guided us throughout the dinner.
Tables with a splendid panoramic view of Lake Garda. An excellent location for a romantic dinner.
It's a shame that the recycling bins are visible at the entrance when parking. Not in keeping with the rest of the establishment.

Sehr schöne Lage und äusserst freundliches Personal. Uns würden alle Wünsche sofort erfüllt ob es das Reservieren von T-Times auf den verschiedenen Golfplätzen der Region war oder Tipps für Tagesausflüge. Besser geht es kaum. Auch die Küche im Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die jungen Köche machen ihre Sache gut. Wir kommen sicher wieder, weil wir als Gast wertgeschätzt werden. Bitte weiter so!

The hotel has a fabulous panoramic location. It's very romantic in the evenings. The rooms are spacious and clean. The spa is lovely, with a wellness center, sauna, and indoor pool.
Outside, there's a large lawn with a pool and children's area.
We had a great time, thanks in part to the kind and professional staff.

We had a great stay at this hotel. I have nothing to complain about. German is spoken at the reception, and there's no shortage of friendliness.
The breakfast is really extensive, including scrambled eggs. We were upgraded because there were still rooms available. Cleanliness, amenities, location, and variety—simply first-class. Highly recommended.

We booked a holiday on Lake Garda for 7 nights here.
The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and explained everything to us in great detail. It is a very nice hotel above Lake Garda.

Pillows are very hard, but received a softer pillow upon request.

Fruit, sausage, cheese, pastries, muesli... everything your heart desires!
Paolo is the good soul of the house.
He took care of everything immediately, was always very accommodating and managed everything so that everyone was satisfied.
Unfortunately there is a minus with the dinner offer. There is only one gourmet restaurant in the house, which certainly not every hotel guest can afford, which means the hotel loses a lot of guests in the evening.
We spoke to guests who have been going to this hotel for a long time and who also said that the price/performance ratio used to be even worse.
But if you have the necessary change you can have a very good meal there.
If you are looking for an alternative, there are good restaurants nearby where ordinary citizens and children can also eat.
In the late evening you can enjoy a drink in a great atmosphere and a wonderful view of Lake Garda.

In this hotel, the welcome and management are definitely top-notch; the property is tastefully furnished and clean.

I'd been eyeing this splendid hotel for a long time but had never gotten around to it.
Well, the time has finally come, because it's always a matter of waiting patiently, and the right time for everything comes along...
The weather was the worst, but the atmosphere at this hotel was delightful!
From the welcome at reception by the professional and competent, yet very friendly and welcoming staff, to the wonderful lake view from the room terraces, from the succulent and varied breakfast worthy of note, to the superb restaurant for the most discerning palates, all the way to the wellness area where everything has been designed to ensure guests' utmost relaxation.
The spa area features a massage area, sauna, Turkish bath, waterbeds and loungers for relaxing with soothing background music, a large heated pool with glass windows overlooking the outdoor pool and the beautiful large garden with palm and olive trees, and a terrace and bar with a breathtaking view of Lake Garda. In short, nothing is missing, and the service and cleanliness are truly impeccable.
I thank everyone—I remember a few names, Vanessa, Paolo, Maria, and Elisa—for making me feel like a longtime customer...but it was only the first time :)

Superb hotel, very well located, peacefully overlooking the Garda mountains.
Very spacious rooms with air conditioning, impeccable bedding, beautiful terraces.
Very welcoming and professional staff, always with a smile.
Breakfast by the pool, a very well-stocked buffet. The coffee is a little too strong.
The terrace restaurant offers excellent cuisine (one Michelin star), but the menu is a bit limited. It's a shame there isn't a French version.
Very large swimming pool overlooking the lake and surrounded by a beautiful garden with lounge chairs and umbrellas.
One word: pure bliss!

I've always gone during the low season, so it was as if the spa was reserved just for us!
Excellent dinners, very good and plentiful breakfast. My only complaint: I'd add a little salty food to my afternoon snack. I've always stayed in the junior suites with a lake view: very beautiful and spacious rooms with a lovely terrace. RATING: 9.5. Great!
