Golf Club Bogogno at Lago Maggiore – Piemonte
The two 18-hole courses of the Bogogno Golf Club in Piemonte fit perfectly into the gentle hilly landscape in the south of Lake Maggiore. It consists of the Bonora Golf Course and the Del Conte Golf Course, which can be classified as sporty and challenging. Situated at 320 meters above sea level, the par-72 course combines traditional and modern elements as well as playing challenge and a dreamlike natural landscape.
The two courses were designed by US architect Robert von Hagge and built in 1996. It has numerous water hazards and some slopes - but on the whole the topography is flat. In addition, the Del Conte course is characterized by high rough and comparatively narrow fairways, while the Bonora course requires a strategic game.
The Bogogno Golf Club on Lake Maggiore also includes a restaurant, pro store, equipment rental, Bogogno Junior School, children's playground and hotel.
How to get there:
Take the A22 highway to the Affi exit, then continue on the SS450 expressway to Peschiera. Continue on the A4, the A8, the E62 and the A26 until the Borgomanero exit and then follow Via Salvemini, Via Siani and Via Isidoro.
