Golf Club Lignano
When you hear of Lignano, you immediately think of expansive, golden sandy beaches, sea and nightclubs! But Lignano offers more than that, especially for golf lovers!
Not far from the beach is the Golf Club Lignano, a par 72 course designed by the famous architect Marco Croze. The 18-hole course with long fairways, wide greens and large natural sandy areas covers an area of 70 hectares.
The water features and the green pine forest provide the ideal setting for play on this technically demanding course. It is no coincidence that the Lignano Golf Club has hosted several international competitions over the years, such as the Italian Women's Open, the PGA's Champions Trophy of Europe, the Alps Tour Servizitalia Open and the Lignano Open.
For those who want to practice and improve their technique, there is also a driving range with 9 covered teeing grounds and more than 50 grass teeing grounds. There are also two putting greens of more than 700 m² each and a pitching green nearby.
Within the park where the golf course is located, there is also a hotel with a wellness area and restaurant.
