Metaponto Golf Course in Basilicata
Metaponto Golf Club belongs to the same owners as Riva dei Tessali Golf Club in Puglia. Both are only 10 minutes away from each other by car, but it is worth mentioning that Metaponto Golf Course is located in Basilicata.
Both regions and golf courses are located in the Gulf of Taranto in southern Italy, but the 18-hole (par 72) Metaponto course is only a few years old. The fairways present themselves wide and open, they are slightly undulating and are surrounded by many kinds of Mediterranean plants. As you can see, Puglia and Basilicata are quite attractive for golf trips.
How to get there:
A1/A14 freeway. At the barrier Taranto Nord, follow the road to Reggio Calabria until the SS 106. At km 451 follow the signs to Matera and after 2 km turn left to the golf course Metaponto.
