Miglianico Golf Club near Pescara in Abruzzo
Near Pescara in Abruzzo there is the 18-hole Miglianico Golf Course, which can boast of being the first golf course in Abruzzo. Another interesting detail is that the golf club is the only course in Italy that is entirely managed by the public sector.
The 18-hole (par 72) golf club near Pescara was designed and realized by the American Ronald Kirby. The fairways are very narrow, many man-made and natural water hazards require precise play, some slopes, like the one at hole 3, are quite treacherous. A golf trip to Abruzzo is therefore recommended primarily to experts.
How to get there:
Bologna-Bari highway, Pescara Sud-Francavilla exit. Turn left towards Miglianico and follow the signs to the golf course.
