Golf Club Olgiata in Lazio
27 holes, 1968 and 1984 World Championships, 2002 Open d'Italia: in Italy there is hardly a more prestigious golf course than that of the Olgiata Golf Club in Lazio. Here, the world's best professionals and amateurs golfed and still golf, each hole demanding the utmost concentration and precision.
Take, for example, the 3rd hole, where a par 4 must be overcome a whole 425 meters: Strength is required here, especially when the all too frequent headwind kicks in.
Whoever undertakes a golf trip to Lazio and thinks something of himself, must play willy-nilly on the Olgiata golf course.
How to get there:
From Rome (or from the Grande Raccordo Anulare) take the exit to Via Cassia and follow it to Bracciano. Follow the signs to the golf course on the right.
