Golf Club St. Vigil Seis in the South Tyrolean Dolomites
Among experts, the 18-hole course (par 70) in Kastelruth/Seiser Alm is not only considered the most beautiful golf course in South Tyrol, but also the most beautiful course in all of northern Italy. It is a particular attraction for all those golfers who, in addition to a good course, also appreciate the mountain experience, peace and relaxation.
Golfing almost takes a back seat here, it is sometimes too hard to turn away from the magnificent view of the Schlern and concentrate on your game. And golfing here requires concentration: the facilities are sporty, the degree of difficulty of the approx. 60-hectare golf course is relatively high and there are many hills and water hazards to overcome. The absolute highlight is hole 15, because this par 3 has the largest difference in altitude in Europe.
The St.Vigil Seis golf course in South Tyrol (800 m above sea level) is known for its outstanding golf school: you can take everything from a taster course to a course- and tournament-ready course here. The prices are acceptable, youngsters under 18 golf at reduced green fees. The golf hotels in Kastelruth, on the other hand, are stylish and just right for golf holidays in South Tyrol.
How to get there:
- coming from Völs at the beginning of the village
- from Seis turn left at the rock km 13
- coming from Gröden via Panider Sattel to Kastelruth - at the end of the village of Seis turn right at the rock to St. Vigil to the golf course Kastelruth-Seiser Alm.
