Golf Senza Confini Tarvisio in Friuli
A special golf course for a golf holiday in Friuli Venezia Giulia is the Tarvisio Golf Club. It is located in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Slovenia and is framed by lovely mixed forests and the impressive mountain peaks of the Julian Alps.
Today, the Tarvisio golf course, which was originally built in 1992 as a 9-hole course, has 18 holes (par 70). The course was developed according to the ideas of the Canadian Graham Cook and the Venetian architect Marco Croze, who placed nature in the foreground and modelled the course entirely according to the landscape. Thus, flat and level fairways alternate with hilly ones. Some have the character of mountain courses, while others have all the characteristics of Mediterranean golf courses.
