Terme di Saturnia Golf Club
If you are looking for a golf course that is perfectly in harmony with the wild nature of the Maremma countryside and has a special character, the magnificent Terme di Saturnia golf course is undoubtedly the one for you.
The challenging 6,316-metre championship course on 70 hectares is the work of Californian architect Ronald Fream of Studio Golf Plan and is the only one in Italy designed by him. Each hole along the course has its own character and personality. The 18-hole course, one of the few Italian courses to have obtained the prestigious GEO certification, will offer you splendid views of small lakes, streams, large bunkers carved into the fairways, undulating and wide greens, and landing areas where you will have to be very careful about which club to use.
The course also includes a driving range where you can practice on turf all year round, with many target greens, 34 uncovered and 9 covered tees - equipped with front and side mirrors, three of which are heated in the winter months - Pitching Green, Putting Green and practice bunkers.
True golf lovers can also take advantage of our Golf Clinics, moments during which they can improve their technique and handicap with new teaching methods. Improvements are guaranteed!
How to get there:
If arriving from the north: follow the Siena-Grosseto-Scansano- Montemerano-Saturnia highway. From the Grosseto EST exit, follow the Scansano-Montemerano-Saturnia. If arriving from the south: take the A12 Roma-Civitavecchia motorway, then the SS1 Aurelia road to Montalto di Castro; at the Vulci junction, continue in the direction of Manciano-Saturnia.
