Molise is probably the least developed region in Italy in terms of golf. Also in terms of tourism, Molise is not very well-developed, even though there are a few gems to see.
There are many old castles and forts to explore, for example in Campobasso, Larino, Pescolanciano or Termoli. The old town of the latter is situated on a rocky promontory jutting into the sea. The golf hotels in Molise are a good starting point for excursions and sightseeing.
A golf holiday in Molise is limited to the Varvarusa Golf Club. The practice course is especially recommended for golf beginners.
