+ My name is Dr. Klaus Haag, and I am 66 years old. For about ten years now, my wife, our family (now in its third generation), and I have been guests at the Hotel Schwarzschmied at least once a year. We have spent our holidays there, both in winter and summer, and are delighted by the consistently high quality of our stay, made possible by the Dissertori family, our hosts. The hotel's exterior is very well-maintained and blends perfectly into the surroundings of Lana. A particular highlight is the view of Lana's imposing church, which can be enjoyed while swimming in the outdoor pool. The grounds are park-like and well-kept, providing direct access to Lana's city center. Ample parking is available, both covered and uncovered. Not only the exterior cleanliness, but also the cleanliness of the rooms, restrooms, and all areas accessible to guests deserves special mention. We are always impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the host family, who come up with new ways to pamper their guests with every stay. The staff at reception and in the service and housekeeping departments are generally down-to-earth, always approachable, and competent, with long-term commitments to the hotel. They are always discreetly courteous and never refuse our request. The quality and presentation of the breakfast are unbeatable; every single component is exquisite and locally sourced, leaving absolutely nothing to be desired. Dinner is served at the table and always freshly prepared, allowing for individual preferences. Guests can choose from several courses in the evening. The wine selection is wonderful, as the owner is a gifted sommelier. There are also often impressive musical goodnight serenades in the evenings. A variety of sporting and leisure activities are available on-site. Swimming in the large outdoor pool or the indoor pool, daily yoga and fitness classes, and excellent guided hikes are all possible and can be booked at short notice. In short... For our taste and sensibilities, it couldn't be improved upon, but always with a focus on the down-to-earth sensibilities of both guests and hotel staff. I deliberately wrote this review some time after our last stay, following many previous visits, and believe it is therefore quite insightful.

+ Unfortunately, our stay at Hotel Schwarzschmied did not meet our expectations, as the price and quality were not in line with our expectations. On the positive side, the exceptional cleanliness was outstanding. The rooms are lovely, the view very pleasant, but the bed was too hard for our liking. Although the hotel bills itself as a design hotel, we found the decor to be nice and tasteful, but not truly design-oriented. The staff was friendly, but not particularly attentive. Basic information was missing upon arrival. Pre-existing preferences were not reliably accommodated at dinner – on one occasion, a non-gluten-free dish was even served, which was only corrected after we inquired. Even on New Year's Eve, our previously requested menu preferences were unknown. Furthermore, the New Year's Eve menu could not be delivered to our room, which we felt was unacceptable given the price. However, we really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the à la carte options such as poached eggs. The hotel is located in the center of town, but you have to drive to reach the trailheads. The spa area is rather small, and we feel it's unreasonable that only one yoga class per day is included at this price. Overall, unfortunately, the stay didn't live up to the expectations set by the price.

+ My husband and I stayed at this hotel on the evening of December 12 during our first trip to Italy. The facilities were fantastic, and we had a perfect night here! Tragically, I carelessly left my wallet (with my passport inside) on the car roof when we checked out the next day. We didn’t notice until we reached our next stop, and we were absolutely panicked—losing the passport would have ruined our whole trip and left us stranded abroad. After a frantic search, we went back to the hotel for help, and the front desk ladies were incredibly kind and helpful. They organized staff to search the hotel thoroughly, checked surveillance footage to confirm my mistake, and helped us contact the local police to file a report. Since we don’t speak Italian, they also acted as our translators and liaisons the entire time. While we were at the police station, we got a call from a local who’d found our wallet in a nearby village—and the hotel team immediately helped coordinate with him to get it back. Thanks to their tireless efforts, we recovered the wallet and my passport, and got to continue our Italian adventure smoothly. The hotel’s service is truly exceptional, and the scenery here is stunning too. We can’t thank the staff enough for their professionalism and warmth—10/10 recommend!

The added value, however, is the staff: extremely kind, attentive, and capable of making you feel at home from the first moment. Every detail is attended to with great professionalism and passion. The services are excellent, starting with the spa, which is simply splendid: everything is well-organized and designed for maximum relaxation. The restaurant also deserves a special mention: in addition to being aesthetically beautiful, it offers incredible cuisine. The chef and pastry chef are extraordinary and manage to fulfill every request with ease and care. One example: I had only mentioned that there was an anniversary and, without me even asking, I found myself with a cake complete with candles. A gesture that speaks volumes about the care they give to their guests. A special compliment to Marian at the restaurant and Brigitte in the back office for their helpfulness and kindness. Wonderful place, highly recommended. I'll definitely be back!

Hmmm, I would have expected that from such a highly praised hotel. It's also a shame that the lobby smells strongly of chlorine; it's rather unpleasant, especially since food is served there. The food is okay... but for the prices charged, the quality should be higher. We've stayed in countless hotels in South Tyrol; perhaps we've become too spoiled.

All the staff, without exception, were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. From housekeeping to reception to the restaurant service – we were treated with the same warmth, friendliness, and professionalism everywhere. We've never experienced such a consistently positive atmosphere before! To our great delight, we even received an upgrade to the Junior Suite. When we entered the room, a lovingly prepared changing table for our then six-month-old daughter was already waiting for us, complete with bath toys and a towel. These little touches were especially meaningful to us as a family and immediately made us feel truly seen and welcome. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was also something very special: super relaxed, quiet, beautifully designed, always clean, and simply a place where you can let go and unwind. In the restaurant, we were looked after by a fantastic team every evening, and the menu was an absolute highlight every night – consistently amazing! ... From the shuttle pick-up at the train station in Lana and the room upgrade to the exceptionally delicious breakfast and dinner at the hotel, everything was perfect. I'll definitely try to recreate the overnight oats myself :) The bar, the wellness and spa area (the relaxation area with a fireplace was amazing!), the heated outdoor pool (especially wonderful in the mornings), and our room were all truly idyllic spaces. I think the coexistence of families with children or babies, yogis, childless couples (like us), and solo travelers worked very well because there were great exclusive areas for everyone in the hotel. All the staff at the hotel, from the cleaning service to the reception and restaurant management, and of course the Dissertori family, are incredibly welcoming—we felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the Schwarzschmied. The rooms (205) are very pleasant, air-conditioned and have a balcony. The breakfast is truly high-quality, with fresh, homemade ingredients—it's truly fantastic! The evening meal is also top-notch: very well-seasoned, with elaborate flavors that change daily. The service is top-notch, with smiling and efficient waitresses and waiters. Good wine at a reasonable price. The spa area is also very good (sauna, hammam, etc.). The only downside, which isn't really a downside, is the large number of children! The outdoor pool is very crowded, and I regretted not being able to swim or read quietly around it. Lots of activity and games The hotel is perfect for families, and we even said we'd definitely come back with our children, but when we don't have them (!), it's better to be warned that other people's children will be there :-) If you want to rest and recharge, be warned! This is certainly a one-off during the summer holidays, of course. But I admit that I was bothered by the children running around in the rooms above and next door very early in the morning...not conducive to a lie-in! It was a good experience nonetheless. While at first we regretted not staying longer, we were actually happy to find some of the peace and quiet we were looking for :-)

+ Loved, loved, LOVED this place. We stayed with our 3 kids for 5 days and it was an absolute dream. It's hard to find a hotel that strikes a good balance of being lux, low-key, and kid-friendly, and Hotel Schwarzschmied did it all. It had a children's yurt full of toys and books, great daily yoga and other classes, and incredible food. We expected we'd want to explore other restaurants more, but ended up eating at the hotel for dinner 4 out of 5 nights we were there because it was just so good. And the hotel breakfast was absolutely perfect, no notes.

The location is immersed in a vineyard, and it has swimming pools, sauna, and a great fitness area with daily activities, e-bikes and a large parking lot are available for all guests. Close to main attractions (i.e., Merano 2000, monte San Vigilio). Children are welcome. Food is delicious and local. It is very international and everyone fluently speaks German/Italian/English. It feels like home. A suggestion: we know that it is a plastic free area (highly appreciate it) but a recycle bin for plastic could be helpful

The location is perfect for dogs because there's a lovely path with a small stream around the hotel – ideal for a quick evening walk. There's also a nice dog park by the river in Lana. The pool is fantastic, even in bad weather, as the water is always nice and warm. We went to yoga every morning; the classes were always excellent, leaving us feeling relaxed yet refreshed. + We stayed at the hotel over Easter. The food was very good and varied, and the staff was very friendly. The dining room was unsuitable and poorly ventilated – it smelled and was sometimes cold. We love staying in design hotels, but we expected more design and architecture. There were no design classics; instead of Thonet furniture, the furniture and furnishings were rather cheap. You could tell from the hallways and elevator that the hotel had been renovated on a budget. We also expected more attention to detail – for example, like at the Hotel Forestis or the Hotel Post in Bezau. The potential is definitely there in terms of interior design, hospitality, and spa. The spa is very small, and over Easter, there were simply too many children. It wasn't clear to us that the website, with its excellent branding and pictures, would attract so many children and be more of a family hotel than a couples' hotel. It was okay, but we expected more.

+ It´s been some weeks now, since we had been at the Hotel. There are many nice details all over the place, high quality room, loved the design. Fantastic Yoga session in the glass house. Only three stars from us. For us it was lacking of atmosphere, we felt like in the middle of influencers and content creators, all busy with their phones and being super fancy. Not our type of crowd. Partially that attitude spelled over to staff. Maybe it was bad luck. Service at breakfast was underwhelming. No info which table to take, orders took forever and then the orders and tables were mixed up, all confused, dishes not cleared. Buffet area was too small for too many people. In that area are too many too good Hotels, we would choose another one next time.

+ That's it for the Schwarzschmied – too crowded and succumbing to the influencer craze. We come to the Schwarzschmied very often and for years were impressed and 100 percent happy at the same time. What had been developing during the last few visits was now, unfortunately, too much; The hotel is no longer an oasis of calm – it's simply too busy and has grown too big. You can tell by the service, which, while trying hard, simply can't keep up during peak times. You'll end up sitting here for 30-45 minutes without any energy. The wellness area is no longer relaxing when it's too busy – so it's no longer wellness for me either. The morning yoga sessions are always booked out, like the loungers on an all-inclusive Mallorca vacation. But what really makes it worse are the influencers who walk around with their phones all day, taking pictures of everything and everyone. It's completely incomprehensible to me – the Schwarzschmied is in high demand – why the hotel promotes and pushes its influencer target group so heavily. As negative as all this sounds, the Schwarzschmied is still a fantastic hotel with outstanding cuisine and a fantastic location. The staff is also very friendly and strives to fulfill all wishes to perfection. However, the magic of a former gem has faded and is no longer worthy of a 5-star rating.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted, shown around the entire hotel, and taken to our room. The room was super nice, large, and clean. Great view. Very quiet. Starting the day with yoga and a fantastic breakfast (everything fresh, the finest selection of high quality) was absolutely perfect. The wellness treatments were incredibly relaxing. The sauna area is huge (three saunas, one of which is outdoors) and the relaxation area (including a fireplace) invites you to linger for a while. There's complimentary tea and flavored water. Not to be forgotten is the heated outdoor pool and the small but perfectly formed fitness room. The absolute highlight was the four-course dinner menu. Every day there was a great selection, finely balanced and beautifully presented dishes. A fantastic wine selection too. The evening meal is also truly sensational, even though it starts at 6:30 p.m. Don't go until around 7:30/8 p.m., otherwise you'll have to wait 15/25 minutes between courses, which is the only negative thing I noticed. The view and the spa area are also truly sensational, but they apparently close at 8 p.m. The only really bad thing is the bell tower, which starts selling bazaars at 6 a.m., but that's not the hotel's fault.

+ I am blown away how this property manages the difficult balance of being child friendly while still being a wellness oasis to those with or without children. The property exudes such a relaxing vibe, and the little nooks to spend time in are plentiful and well done. I think the price point is very fair for the offerings. The front desk staff were a bit perfunctory, but the servers (especially at the not-to-miss Sunday Poolhouse Grill) and yoga instructors were warm and inviting. The daily schedule of activities was incredible! Make sure your desired activities align with the days of the week you’ll be there though. The partnership with the other properties in the area, Villa Arnica and 1477 provide extended activities and dining opportunities as well. (Don’t miss 1477’s patio.) I love that they have a wide range of rooms, allowing families to pick the right space for their children, and the price point is not as many multiples of a normal room cost as a multi-room “suite’ normally would be. The rooftop suite that we stayed in had a separate room with a pullout couch and dining table where they provided a real wooden crib for our baby. Overall we had an excellent time, and would highly recommend to anyone!

If you prefer peace and quiet, room 131 is not recommended, as the balcony is directly above the pool. The beds were truly comfortable. The wellness area is fantastic, and there are many lovely places to relax. A special highlight is, of course, the outdoor pool in the middle of the hotel's own vineyard. The food is truly outstanding, accompanied by great wines. Breakfast was also very good, especially the homemade carrot cake (we need the recipe!). Our room was also very clean and lovingly decorated, with a great balcony and an exceptional view. They also provide cozy bathrobes, a bag for the wellness area, and a backpack for hiking. The hotel's location is fantastic; Bolzano and Merano are within easy reach, and Lana also has a lot to offer. Parking is free in the hotel's underground garage. The location in the center of Lana is ideal. Central yet secluded, surrounded by vineyards and narrow alleys. The staff and service are very attentive and accommodating. It's also worth noting that the hotel is very family- and dog-friendly ️. The outdoor and indoor pools, wellness area, saunas, and steam bath leave nothing to be desired. Both breakfast and dinner are of the highest quality, varied, and cooked with local produce. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back! + In South Tyrol, they say "fine" when something is really good. In this sense, the Schwarzschmied is a very fine place. We were there on a yoga retreat with Bärbel Mießner from Yogamour. The yoga was wonderful. The hotel, too. - The location is great; in the center of Lana, yet a small oasis with views over the pool, the vineyard, and the church to the opposite side of the Etsch Valley. An ideal starting point for hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing. - The rooms are special; large, beautifully designed, and with many details, such as the "Picture Library" or the Marshall box. - The staff is very, very friendly. - The hotel offers ideal conditions for yoga and sports. Retreats almost weekly, good rooms, a small but "fine" fitness room, rental bikes of all categories, and a stylish garage for your own bike. Breakfast times that match the menu... - The food at "La Fenice" is outstanding. - The sauna area isn't huge, but -- again -- "fine." We didn't try the spa facilities. - The activity program is extensive, and the one yoga class we tried outside of the retreat was very nice. Compared to other wellness hotels, the Schwarzschmied is perhaps a bit smaller, but that naturally creates a pleasant atmosphere. One of the few things that could be improved is that the cappuccino at breakfast comes from a vending machine (or has to be paid for separately). This doesn't detract from the five out of five stars, but perhaps this can be changed by our next visit...

+ We were pleasantly surprised by our stay at the Schwarzschmied. A beautiful and sufficiently large wellness area, a good location in Lana, and very friendly staff. A great recommendation, were it not for the beds. Unfortunately, I slept badly both nights and therefore didn't feel fully rested after my stay. The pictures of the adjacent Villa Arnica and Reichalter show significantly better beds, so I hope they will soon be available at the Schwarzschmied as well. Nevertheless, the breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice, egg dishes, very good bread, and attentive service. Only the manager was a bit stressed and constantly insisted on keeping the curtains closed in one of the relaxation rooms. The only annoying thing is that a room card is required at the other entrance to get from the outdoor pool back to the loungers. I still haven't figured out the system.

Great service at breakfast. A great start on the motorbike from the cool underground garage! Then to Gampen and the Mendel Pass, and back from Bolzano to Lana via tiny roads. Great!!! The church across the street is noisy. But it didn't bother us. The wines are relatively expensive, and the bar staff are also professionals who enjoy their work. The location is almost in the town center. Lana itself is also quite nice, with a surprising number of places to stop for a bite to eat.

The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I found the staff a bit cold, and especially for my boyfriend and I, who were visiting Lana for the first time. They couldn't give us any directions about things to see or walking routes (I saw there were plenty on the Lana website). They didn't even tell us that the card they gave us was for discounts on various nearby attractions. I also didn't like that the lounge bar and restaurant closed very early compared to what a young couple is used to. The town of Lana was completely quiet in the evenings after 9:30 PM.

+ Hotel Schwarzschmied and its partner hotel Reichhalter are two of my favorite hotels. I've stayed here several times. The fantastic spa area, the great yoga classes, the outdoor pool, the excellent, high-quality food, the beautiful rooms, the wonderful aroma, the friendly staff—I always feel very comfortable. That's why it's usually a 5-star experience. But unfortunately, my stay this time wasn't quite as wonderful as usual. We stayed at Hotel Reichhalter, and I was a bit put off when I read that participation in the yoga classes cost €10 per hour. In the end, no classes were charged, but I would have found that a real shame, since the hotel advertises access to the spa at Schwarzschmied. It simply detracts from the feeling of being pampered and the hospitality. The staff is generally very attentive and friendly, but this time I had to wait a very long time for service in La Fucina every afternoon. Overall, I felt that some requests or requests lacked prompt hospitality.

+ A very nice, well-maintained hotel, however, we were somewhat disappointed this year. Our restaurant staff was attentive and very friendly, but they seemed a bit rushed and stressed. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the portions were a bit small for a hungry athlete. The extra charge for the rented e-bikes is perfectly reasonable, but the bikes should be in good working order; otherwise, the tour isn't enjoyable. Unfortunately, all the yoga classes were already fully booked upon our arrival. Very annoying! This wasn't how we remembered the Hotel Schwarzschmied, hence only 3 stars.

+ Fantastic hotel! The rooms are very spacious and stylish, decorated with great attention to detail. The pool and spa area is beautiful and comfortable, and infused water and fruit tea are available all day. There's a great vegan breakfast and dinner, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The excellent yoga classes and free bike rental are also worth mentioning. Overall, it's pleasantly quiet despite its prime location near the city center. You immediately feel at home, and we highly recommend this hotel :)

We had special requests for the food, and the restaurant staff organized them excellently; thank you again! A big compliment to the kitchen as well! The various yoga teachers are also very competent, and we felt completely relaxed and happy after each lesson. We also really enjoyed the treatments we booked. The entire complex, including the interior and exterior design of the various zones and the room, are very harmonious and perfectly executed. We would like to thank you for the excellent service and the hospitality of the beautiful room. The hotel is just a few steps from the center. We will be back!

+ The hotel made a very good impression on us. Particularly noteworthy were the cleanliness of the rooms, the crystal-clear pools (rarely seen anything like this, especially in the outdoor area where you'd normally see a blade of grass or a leaf floating in the water), the good soundproofing in the bedrooms/rooms, and the free, spacious, and not overcrowded underground parking garage. A particular highlight for us was the restaurant. We opted for the set menu on the first evening of our stay and were simply thrilled. I don't think I've eaten so well in a hotel in years! The food was fresh, flavorful, and plentiful, the buffet was extensive, and the ladies and gentlemen behind the grill were extremely friendly and entertaining. The soft drinks were always refilled and plentiful, and extremely tasty. There's a great playroom for children in the basement. There are ample sports facilities, and plenty of bicycles are available for rental. Children seem to be very welcome here: We received a children's bathrobe including small slippers, which caused great excitement. The bathrobes are NOT wrapped in plastic like in other hotels: GREAT! There were also many children around, in the pool, in the garden, and in the restaurant. They were very friendly. Before departure, we received a small snack for the trip, a nice gesture. What we both missed a little was a chef walking through the restaurant and asking, "Is everything okay with you? Did you enjoy your meal?" (which he definitely did, and he did), or an owner walking through his guests in the restaurant/at the buffet/at the pool and asking these questions. Even upon departure, we didn't hear anything like, "Was everything okay with you? Do you have any suggestions for improvement?" It's nothing serious and perhaps explained by stress, absences, etc. – but we somehow missed it in South Tyrol, where this warm hospitality was always alive.

We enjoyed the dinner excellently, the breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, and the service was very good (although I felt that the personal and warm South Tyrolean touch was a bit lacking). Overall, a great hotel – we would come back.

+ Relaxation in a pleasant, high-quality atmosphere The staff in the restaurant, at the bar, and in the spa area were always very attentive and lovingly attended to all our needs. The restaurant has a selection for vegan and vegetarian lovers. Of course, high-quality meat-based dishes are also offered. The wine list offers a wide selection; we stocked up directly at the nearby winery. The rooms are very well air-conditioned despite the high outside temperatures, and the controls are simple and intuitive. The rooms are furnished to a high standard (rooftop rooms). The view over Lana and the surrounding mountains is wonderfully calming. The pool and the outdoor area with its loungers are beautifully designed and offer plenty of space for guests. The yoga program was very well received and is very professionally run. We will definitely book the hotel again.

+ This was our first time in Lana, and the Hotel Schwarzschmied completely won us over. For us, it's one of the best hotels we've stayed in so far. From the very warm and friendly staff, clean and spacious rooms (we had a new double room in the main building), the pleasant wellness and activity area, the daily S'Blattl with weather forecasts, hiking tours, regional recommendations, and things to do in and around the hotel, and above all, the food was sooo good (regional, organic, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, wholesome and simply delicious). We highly recommend the half-board option. There's also an afternoon snack between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., which is also impressive. We 100% recommend the hotel and hope to be back soon.

In terms of wellness, it has everything you could need and want. However, being accommodated in the annex significantly diminishes the experience. + Das Hotel selbst ist sehr behaglich und schön eingerichtet. Wir haben ein Zimmerupgrade bekommen und das war wirklich wunderschön. Mit offenem Bad und einer großen Fensterfront mit tollem Ausblick. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, top organisiert und sehr zuvorkommend. Der Spa Bereich war ebenfalls sehr schön. Im Ruheraum gab es einen großen Ofen mit Feuer hinter der Scheibe, sehr gemütlich. Das tägliche (kostenlose) Yoga haben wir gern in Anspruch genommen. Alles war sehr sauber. Besonders gut gefällt mir, dass auf regionale und nachhaltige Produkte in der Küche gesetzt wird. Das Essen war superlecker und wir wurden rundum verwöhnt. Auch die Lage zwischen Meran und Bozen war sehr toll für Ausflüge. Und direkt in Lana kann man auch schön bummeln und mit der Seilbahn auf den Berg zum Wandern gehen.

Waalwanderweg Brandis mit Wasserfall. Golfplatz - super gepflegt, ein einziger grüner Teppich fast ohne Beschädigung (Ausnahme: Teilw. kaputte Matten u Tees auf Driving Range; aber schönes Pitching Green). Feines Essen, schattige Terasse, schöner Pool, nicht zu kalt. Tolle Massage bei Yogalehrerin.

+ Accomodation was on 3/4 basis - and we really felt that it was worth the money we've paid - food was exceptional and so was the room. Good facilites with gym, outdoor and indoor pool, sauna, fitness, fitness classes, kids room, excursions and free bikes for the guests.

Julia February 2026 travelled as young couple + We have stayed at the Schwarzschmied many times now, and each time it is a wonderfully relaxing experience that allows us to truly unwind. The architecture and interior design are very stylish and pleasing to both the eye and the mind, the food is Michelin-star quality and always varied, the spa and pool area are inviting and relaxing, and the yoga classes (often with fantastic external instructors) are a meditative experience. We are already looking forward to our next stay and to the consistently attentive staff!

For about ten years now, my wife, our family (now in its third generation), and I have been guests at the Hotel Schwarzschmied at least once a year. We have spent our holidays there, both in winter and summer, and are delighted by the consistently high quality of our stay, made possible by the Dissertori family, our hosts. The hotel's exterior is very well-maintained and blends perfectly into the surroundings of Lana. A particular highlight is the view of Lana's imposing church, which can be enjoyed while swimming in the outdoor pool. The grounds are park-like and well-kept, providing direct access to Lana's city center. Ample parking is available, both covered and uncovered. Not only the exterior cleanliness, but also the cleanliness of the rooms, restrooms, and all areas accessible to guests deserves special mention. We are always impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the host family, who come up with new ways to pamper their guests with every stay. The staff at reception and in the service and housekeeping departments are generally down-to-earth, always approachable, and competent, with long-term commitments to the hotel. They are always discreetly courteous and never refuse our request. The quality and presentation of the breakfast are unbeatable; every single component is exquisite and locally sourced, leaving absolutely nothing to be desired. Dinner is served at the table and always freshly prepared, allowing for individual preferences. Guests can choose from several courses in the evening. The wine selection is wonderful, as the owner is a gifted sommelier. There are also often impressive musical goodnight serenades in the evenings. A variety of sporting and leisure activities are available on-site. Swimming in the large outdoor pool or the indoor pool, daily yoga and fitness classes, and excellent guided hikes are all possible and can be booked at short notice. In short... For our taste and sensibilities, it couldn't be improved upon, but always with a focus on the down-to-earth sensibilities of both guests and hotel staff. I deliberately wrote this review some time after our last stay, following many previous visits, and believe it is therefore quite insightful.
