Golf Club Arzaga at Lake Garda
Jack Niklaus II is one of the greats of golf course architects, and until 1998 only worked outside Italy. The 18-hole course in Arzaga on Lake Garda is the first golf course in Italy designed by him. Expectations were correspondingly high.
And they were fulfilled. Curved, wide fairways, a three-level driving range, deep bunkers and lakes are the strengths of the course, which seems to have been modelled into the landscape.
In addition to the 18-hole course (par 72), the golf resort - which also has a conference hotel and spa resort attached - also has a 9-hole course designed and realized by Gary Player. Finally, it should be mentioned that the Arzaga Golf Academy is one of the three Teaching and Learning Centres of the PGA of Europe. The Arzaga golf course on Lake Garda is therefore ideal for beginners.
How to get there:
Milano-Venezia motorway, Desenzano exit, continue towards Brescia. Immediately after the tunnel, turn right towards Sedena. After drive 3 km to Padenghe and from here after half a kilometre to Arazaga Golf Course.
