Garlenda Golf Club in Liguria
The Garlenda golf course in Liguria is unforgettable, says an Italian golf guide. The 18-hole course (par 72) is 6,085 meters long and was designed by two Englishmen, John Harris and John Morrison.
Each hole here is different to play. The 1st green can only be reached via a dogleg, the 2nd via a challenging par 3 and on the 3rd, probably the most spectacular hole, you even have to hit the ball over the provincial road: an obstacle that you look for in vain on most golf trips to Liguria and Italy.
