Even on its website, the Padova Golf Course presents itself as sophisticated and noble, as a club for select circles. It was designed by John Harris, the courses are not easy to play, the difficulties are mainly the many trees on both sides of the fairways, the fast, undulating and sometimes hanging greens as well.
The 27-hole course in the Colli Euganei - the Euganean Hills - (9-hole red: par 36; 9-hole blue; par 36 and 9-hole yellow: par 36) is therefore quite demanding to play. The rewards are the magnificently landscaped ponds and trees and, last but not least, the nearby thermal baths at Abano and Montegrotto.
How to get there:
Padova-Bologna highway, Terne Euganee exit. In the center of Battaglia Terme turn right and continue for 6 km to Galzignano. Here turn left towards Valsanzibio. Follow the signs for Padova Golf Course.
