Circolo Golf Venezia in Veneto
To play golf in a historical ambience and on a course rich in tradition is always something special. For example, a golf vacation in Veneto at the Venezia Golf Course, especially considering that Henry Ford is said to have inspired the construction of the course in the 1920s.
In 1928 the classic Scottish links was founded on the sand dunes of Alberoni and was one of the first golf courses in Veneto and in Italy. Frequently redesigned and renovated over the years, Golf Club Venezia today offers 18 holes (par 72), a challenging course and interesting fairways due to centuries-old trees on the edges, sandy, difficult-to-play surfaces and wide greens with interesting slopes.
Particularly impressive in any case is the old Venetian fort, which is located in the middle of the course: It makes the golf course unique and adds variety to all the green. The 1st tee is located at the fort.
How to get there:
From Venice by ferry to the Lido, here by car to the right and 8 km further to Alberoni, where the golf course is located.
