Golfclub Eppan – „The Blue Monster“ in South Tyrol
The golf course Eppan is located in the sunny and warm south of South Tyrol. The 9-hole course (par 35) was founded only in 2014 and designed by star architect Thomas C. Himmel. The golf course got its name "The Blue Monster" from the numerous water hazards. They fit perfectly into the natural floodplain landscape of the surrounding area.
The Golf Club Eppan is situated on a relatively flat terrain, is spacious and offers large greens. The water hazards, small lakes and rivers add excitement to the game. The course is sporty and interesting to play for beginners as well as for advanced players.
The golf course Eppan has high ecological standards. Due to the many water areas, the entire terrain has been enhanced and will also become home to various bird species in the future. The young golf course is surrounded by numerous apple trees, which turn into a magical sea of blossoms in spring. In the background, the view falls on the impressive peaks of the South Tyrolean mountains.
How to get there:
Take the Brenner freeway (A22) to the Bolzano South exit. From there the SS38 (MeBo) leads in the direction of Merano. Leave the road at Eppan and continue on the SS42 until the junction with Via Pillhof (SP54). Turn right and follow this road until you reach your destination.
